      Danny N came to our house at 0700 in the morning (our request, but he said he was happy to). Our furnace had probably been broken for at least 3 days, luckily in the warm stretch at the beginning of February, but he was able to commit to replacing it the next day if we chose to proceed with his estimate. He came in, assessed the old furnace talked plainly and professionally about options, answered all questions, and then recommended a furnace that fit our needs. He did not hard-sell, nor did we feel like he was trying to upsell us. The estimate was ************* lower than an estimate we had gotten from a competitor ****** ** **************** ********** *** ***** ** **** ** ** * ****** ****** **** ***** *** ******** *** ******** ** **** ** ** *** ****** *** *****  Danny walked through the +/- of the argument, but left no room for **** The installers showed up at the promised time next day. We were told they would likely have to open the basement ceiling to replace some pipes that were no longer allowed, but by the time they had finished, they did extra work to avoid damaging/opening the ceiling AND did not increase or change the estimate Danny had given us the day before. On top of that, Danny made sure to apply for a rebate that the furnace company makes for replacing their own furnaces, so we're getting $700 back on a 19.5yr old furnace. *** ***** ******* ******* * **** ******* **** ********************

      ** *** *** **** ********* *************** HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! ***** **** *** ******** ********* *** * **** ******* ** **** *** ********* ************ ** **** ********  I had a supposed “plumber” come in for 20 minutes. He had me search for the faucet set I purchased that I informed him I had no idea of its whereabouts but insisted he needed it. I’ve never had a plumber before so I was embarrassingly naive to the process. I found it odd that he kept asking me to look for it and when I was in the garage I could hear him walking around my house. He was here to fix my bathtub so what was he doing wandering around in my house???He told me he was getting tools but it wasn’t until after he left that I realized he didn’t leave with anything. After my 10 minute search for the faucet set, he informed me that he charged $149.99 per hour on top of the $79.99 charge yet he did nothing but text me the parts I needed to get. He claimed to be here for a half an hour and stalled for the next 10 minutes while he sent me pictures via text and claimed the parts were free. I was in a rush to pick up my son, as he showed up much earlier than scheduled, so I regrettably paid him in order to get him out.       Where to start...**************************** Don't trust Rick; after I brought up the issues I was encountering, and requested a relocation of the unit, he completely **** about the REASON I bought the unit. I bought it to control humidity in a basement after a flood.

      In fact, before agreeing to purchase the unit, I had called Aire One and asked them for another sales rep as I doubted his expertise in this area. Instead of providing somebody else, he phoned me himself and re-iterated his 'expertise' in installing a split system AC/dehumidifier to prevent mould in a Health Canada licensed medical marijuana grow space. He knew full well what it was for. So when I called to complain that I feel I had been misled in the units effectiveness, he changed his tune and told his employers that I purchased the unit for COOLING. This was absolutely not true. I could maintain temperates in an old, stone basement very easily utilizing a high pressure negative airflow. The entire reason I bought this unit was because some of the plants started to get mildew after a basement flood due to sump pump failure; this unit was purchased to keep the humidity so low mould could not form. This is how Rick sold me the unit.

      Just around a year later, I had to call service techs twice because my floor was absolutely covered in water. The first time it was leaking out the front of the unit as well as the back, and the second time a service rep was called it was leaking out the back rather severely. Why? Because MOULD had blocked the fan. The service rep refused to touch the unit....the unit I had purchased to prevent mould. Interesting, isn't it?

      I called them inquiring about a discounted rate of relocation of the unit. If it wasn't going to effectively prevent mould in an old farmhouse basement, it might as well get moved. In fact, the entire grow space had to be relocated due to this split system not doing as it was supposed to do.

      Management has all but refused to relocate it at a discounted price. They never phone me back when promised, and they full well I was worried the sales rep didn't know what he was talking about when discussing my needs. I could have easily purchased a very large dehumidifier for a fraction of the price of a split system air conditioner.
