I went to a presentation in January after signing up a bridal show, and was super happy when I actually got my champagne glasses and wedding bands. Haven't used my cookware yet, but looks nice and sturdy!

******* My fiancé and I received a phone call from Chef's Delight inviting us to a culinary experience, which we believed to be a tasting event and to have the opportunity to speak to catering companies in the Calgary area. This was a total hoax. Upon arriving at the ***********, there were 6 other couples at the event. We listened to the host sell the benefits of the stainless steel frying pans for 2 hours. I will admit, the sales pitch is convincing. The host outlined the health benefits, warranty challenges that exist, and overall the cost savings that you will have by purchasing the chef delight package. Chefs delight will dangle "free incentives" that you will receive by purchasing their package. This includes 1) A cruise or 2) 7 day timeshare accommodation. In addition to a handful of other incentives. You can only receive these benefits if you purchase the package at the event. The reality is these are not "free". The minimum purchase option for their package is $1500 (8pc set). This is outrageously expensive, and it is very evident that these products are a very low cost, and essentially you are just paying for a vacation and getting sub par pots and pans as a bonus. I find the 50 year warranty also quite laughable. Do you really think this company is going to be around in 50 years? People will start catching on to this scheme, and I find it very unlikely that Chefs delight will be a company to honour their warranty if they are out of business. *************************************************************** ****************************************. You sit through 2 hours of high pressure sales tactics to be forced with making a significant purchase without even time to really think about your purchasing decision. ****************

Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear you were not satisfied with your experience at our culinary demonstration, and we'd like to take a moment to deconstruct some of your notes.

To begin, we're incredibly proud of the business that we've built over the last 35 years, so to us, a 50-year warranty is a great value add for our customers.

We're unsure where it was stated that you'd be connected to caterers in your area, but will ensure that none of our communications could be misconstrued that way for other prospective customers.

As for the demonstration itself, we are glad you could see the benefit of our cookware, which is absolutely customizable beyond the package you've mentioned to ensure anyone can build the set that works best for them.

We also understand that making an investment of this size is not easy, and therefore ensure that all customers know that they have a 10 day grace period to cancel their contract, no questions asked.

We fully understand the struggle companies are facing trying to get in front of customers during these troubling times, and would never waste our customers time with "schemes" or "hoaxes".
