First I tried to use my card, both machines said credit card machine is offline. I put in a five and it wouldn’t accept it. It took a twenty and then gave no drinks and returned no money. I took pictures and noted the machine number went to the other machine and it took $5 and gave me a bag of chips and no change again. I tried to put coins in and it took that money as well, only 25 cents was acknowledged, but no return again. *** ******** ***** **** ** ***** ***** *** *** **** *** ** *** ***** **** **** **** ********* I submitted two tickets on the company website, including details, machine numbers and pictures of the money not being returned. I got an automated response for each and no one has responded ever. It’s been a month and repeated emails to them with no response. I know they have been back to service the machines, because when I returned two weeks later, they had removed the cash machine and now have a new card system. I tried to write to ***** ***** the managing director and have thus far had no response either. ***** **** * ********** ******** ** ****** **** **** ** **** *** *** *********

      On Feb 1st a vending machine owned by Adaria at my place of employment took my $20.00 and did not acknowledge the money in the machine. I could not get the money back and would not allow me to select anything. I emailed Adaria Feb 1st and provided all the details including the machine # **** and the location the machine. They replied asking for details that I had already given. I provided the details again. Feb 11th I was told that a refund had been approved and would be sent via etransfer to the email on file. I have emailed them 5 times to let them know I have not received the etransfer and the first time they said they would look into and it is now over a month since I first contacted them and I have not received the refund. I understand that $20.00 is not a substantial amount of money but I am still waiting for the refund. I did not receive any goods and the machine ate my money. I have since involved my plant engineer at work to also reach out to them.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/03) */ As a result of the pandemic, we have had limited access to customer sites and there is a delay for verification of lost funds. All refund issues are verified prior to issuance as part of standard protocol. This customer was refunded already prior to the filing of this case with the BBB. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I did not receive the refund until after I filled the compliant. I have received the refund so this can now be closed.
