We had a ** dishwasher installed by this company. The installation cost around $230 CAD. On the day of installation, the dishwasher door was making a loud noise on opening and closing. The technicians that installed the appliance were unable to figure out the source of the noise. They told me the noise is probably coming from the door hinges. A few days later, I placed a service call with ** (the appliance is under warranty), and a ** technician came to inspect and determine if the appliance has a defect. The ** technician realized that the noise was caused by INSTALLATION PROBLEM (I have a written report), because the door was not making a noise when the dishwasher was removed from the cabinet. I called MD Appliance Installations again and asked them to send a technician to fix the issue. Their technician came on November 18, 2021. He only spent 15 MINUTES in our house. He did NOT bother to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet to detect the source of the noise. The only thing he did was: open the dishwasher screws, move it slightly inside the cabinet (less than 1/2 inches), and tell me "your cabinets are too tight". I can't accept this answer, because we had another dishwasher installed in the same spot with no mechanical problem. Yes, there can be very tiny differences in size between dishwashers, but a PROFESSIONAL installation job is supposed to rectify such issues. Otherwise, did I just pay $230 for a couple of screws to be tightened?!!! I asked the MD Appliance Installations technician for a refund in case I found another company that was able to resolve the issue. He told me that I should talk to their manager, and immediately called him. The manager refused to talk to me. I do not appreciate this unfriendly and unresponsive attitude from the manager. The source of the noise is the door springs and/or pulleys hitting the cabinet wall. In the long run, this will cause damage to the mechanical parts of the dishwasher's door. Therefore, if I don't get this noise fixed right now, in the future I will also have to pay for repairs caused by the bad installation job done by MD Appliances Installations. Right now I have to contact another appliance installation company and pay another installation fee to repair this issue. If MD Appliances Installations is not willing to fix this issue, I think I deserve a full refund.

Hadi, This is the 4th platform you have slandered us on now. I have emailed you prior to your spree of reviews. I offered to come out and show the issue you are choosing not to believe. For all of those reading these reviews, please note that the issue with his dishwasher installation is that his cabinet is not wide enough for the door springs to freely glide. When my technician went out to tell him this as I had diagnosed over email. Hadi was very unpleasant with swearing at the installer and I could hear him being loud when my installer called me. I had instructed him to pack up and leave. I will not subject my employees to this abuse by a client. I then followed up with an email offering to go out personally and show Hadi what the exact issue is. Instead of replying to my email and dealing with this like adults he has decided to go the route of badmouthing us all over the internet. I am still willing to go and explain the issue to you Hadi but you will have to respond to my emails. Until you can make contact with me I cannot proceed with assisting you with your complaint. My email is below and you have our number. We will await your call. Thanks!

I will leave it to the readers to decide which side is slandering the other. I have shared the details of my installation experience with your technician accurately. But you are dissing me instead of focusing on the main issue and providing a plausible answer (clearly because your don’t have one). Here are the facts: 1. Your installers did a poor job. They first blamed the noise on a mechanical problem with the dishwasher. When it became clear that the dishwasher is not defective, you are changing your word and blaming it on my kitchen cabinets being tight (and by the way, you haven’t even seen a picture of my cabinets!). 2. The “kitchen cabinets are too tight” is just an inexperienced (or lazy) technician’s response. Dishwasher sizes are standard. Our house was built in 2015 by a reputable builder. There was another dishwasher in the same spot before we got the new GE one. I have seen inside the kitchen cabinet and I know there is about 1/2-3/4 inches of space on the left. It is just that the dishwasher needs to be adjusted in its position, so the door spring and pulley don’t scratch against the kitchen cabinet. All it takes is a technician who is WILLING TO DO A CLEAN, FLAWLESS JOB. Unfortunately, your technicians are looking for quick jobs and easy money. They just want to install the appliance in 15 minutes, get the $230 CAD, and move on to the next job. 3. It is interesting that on the one hand you are telling me this issue cannot be fixed, and on the other hand you want to “assist” me with my complaint. How are you going to assist me? Please stop pretending that you are offering customer service. In all the e-mails I got from you, you always said that this issue cannot be fixed. I requested a refund in case I could find another installation company that could fix it, and you refused. 4. To all those who are reading this: this manager just sent me an e-mail and cancelled the one-year warranty that they offer on installation, with no proper justification. If you are getting appliance installed by them, be prepared for a unilateral warranty cancellation in case you submit a complaint.
