March 17, 2022. I reached out to a hair stylist located in Milton Ontario over the social media platform ********* to receive a straightening treatmeant and hair extensions. The services came to a total of $700 with a mandatory $100 deposit sent through Interac -Transfer (reference # **************************) which was successfully deposited. She stated the deposit purpose is to order the hair extensions. The stylist (Lama R.) confirmed she could fulfill this service coreectly & we went forth with making an appointment for March 19, 2022 for 11:00 AM at her salon. I went to my appointment with black hair & extensions and her job for the day was to remove my extensions, chemically straighten my hair and install new extensions. At the end of my appointment my hair was no longer black due to the strong chemicals. I made this issue clear to the stylist & last appointment I washed my hair as instructed and the straightening service I got was messed up despite me following direction. The issue is Lama stated even if I washed my hair it would not affect the state of it yet it did. I reached out and shared this with the stylist March 29, 2022 and she quickly blamed the shampoo I use saying that was the reason my hair was having issues. Despite the fact she doesn't know what shampoo I use or the ingredients. Since this appointment I've suffered with major breakage from cheap chemicals. My hair is getting shorter day by day. I paid a total of $750 so when I was unhappy I requested my deposit of $100 be refunded to me and she quickly accused me of blackmail for asking for the money back and threatened police & blocked me when i asked for proof of threats & blackmail from my end & she quickly blocked me. March 31, 2022 my hair got worse & i reached out to her via phone showing her my hair & asked for the department she called on my as she told me she was calling police. *** *** **** ****** ***** ** ****** ********** ****** ***** ** **** ** ** ********* Thanks*Customer response

after she threatened police i advise her to do so as i had not and still haven't done anything illegal and am more than comfortable with low enforcement being involved as she ruined my hair and won't refund me on top of it. the next morning i was having more issues with my hair but this time severe and i requested a refund again which the stylist took as blackmail when i never did anything of that nature, and called police on me. i got a call from the police department (unsure of which one) where the officer asked me to stop contact with the stylist which i did. when speaking to the officer i told him my side and gave me resources like BBB to turn to about this matter which i also did. previously before police were called i left bad ****** reviews on her ****** page sharing my bad experiences. Hair By Lama responded in a very **** way making claims i made ****** remarks against her in our text conversation which is false. i have all of your texts documented and for sure didn't do that. after police were called the stylist went back to the ****** reviews i had left and changed them to a more professional response even saying she would be happy to fix my hair free of charge for the damage she caused. Which she never offered to me when i made it clear to her i was having issues and also offered free service after police asked me to stop contact with her making me unable to get the service to fix my hair free of charge. in all of our communication she has either deleted or blocked the things she said *** ***** *** * *** ****** ** * ****** ********* **** ** **** *** ************ *** *** ******** *** * **** ******** *********** ** ****** ******* **** ** ***** ********* ** **** ** **** *** *** *** **** *** ***** **** **** ** **************

I would also like to request if possible, a receipt, invoice or proof of purchase of the hair extensions from the stylist. She stated the deposit was for the purpose of ordering the hair extensions but after my experience i do not believe that what she gave me are new extensions that she ordered and rather ones she had already. I would also like to request when she responds, that she includes proof of blackmail on my end as i know little to nothing about this woman so i don't even have anything i could blackmail her with.
