      There are two things that I have to complain about Subaru Canada. The first is about the quality of the Forester I bought in 2018. The windows frame color are completely difference. The passenger side window fade away. I complained many times from 2019 , the dealer always said it was normal. I sent an email to Subaru Canada.The problem is still there. NO Action!!! The second thing is about my purchase an anti-trust life-time insurance for my car from the dealer, Subaru Maple. When I bought the service, they said that they would provide anti-rust every two years. But the service never happen. When I asked for service, they replied that the anti-rust service does cover the bottom. **** *** ************ Subaru Canada should protect his customers and have regulations on the dealers' behavior.

      Had my brakes fail on my car. While at my mechanic he inspected it and determined the lines had corroded and cracked in the rear. While there he installed new stainless lines to replace the rubber ones in the front. He advised that there is a recall on the brake lines for this very issue and suggested we tow it to a Subaru dealership. When it got to Subaru they denied the claim because there were stainless steel lines in the front. Subaru Canada does not want to take responsibility as they say the brake system has been modified without OEM parts. This has been very unfair and Subaru is just passing the buck. The recall is to do with hard lines and not rubber lines failing. So essentially I shouldn't have let the mechanic change the front rubber lines. Imagine replacing a part that is not related to a recall that can cause injury or death and then the company just denies it because it is modified. In the grand scheme of things Subaru does not care about the people driving their cars. I've owned 4 subarus and still own 2. I was really considering purchasing their new EV but not anymore. They have lost a consumer. Thankfully I can share this experience with all of the Subaru enthusiasts I know. I will ensure all of them know to just put things back to stock then ask Subaru to fix their own design flaws.

      Very unhappy with my 2019 Subaru Forester. I have had problems with the air conditioning which was fixed under warranty. I have had to replace a rear sensor and now I have to replace the thermo control valve assembly which will cost approximately $1200.00. I have owned a number of new vehicles over the years and this is by far the most unreliable. *********************

      On a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek. In a letter dated Oct 15, 2021, we were informed of a "Service Program WRH-21" and asked to contact our dealer for a fix to that situation. On Nov 2, 2021, a service technician at the dealer told us that they can't do the re-programming" since there seems to be a problem with their software. Attempted twice to no avail. On Nov 3, Nov 8, Nov 17 & Nov 21 we contacted Subaru's customer service and every single time, were told that someone would look into the matter and get back to us within 1 day, again TO NO AVAIL. Today, Nov 26, I once again contacted them for the "recall", waited 35 minutes to speak to someone, and at 16h38, the phone line went dead as if someone just hang the phone on me. They have our home phone as well as my personal cell phone # but, as to be expected, after 4 times with no response, no one had the decency to call us back. The re is a recall on our Subaru, and I want to know, I DESERVE to know (1) is it safe to drive the car as it is, (2) when saying the driver will experience a reduced amount of power, what are we talking about ? the car will stalled on the Toronto Don Valley Parkway or Ottawa Queensway at rush hour ? Is there in fact a solution to fix that problem and if so, WHAT IS IT ?
