On Aug 3, 2021 I went to this place of business with my 2 daughters (age 2.5, 7 months old) & with a friend whom had 2 kids (age 3, age 4 months). We paid $69.80 for 2 kids, 2 adults & 1 pair of socks. The place of business is a place where kids can engage in imaginative play. Before arriving to this place, I checked their webpage & nowhere did it indicate that parents needed to pay. I have taken a picture and included the advertised prices that was posted inside the place of business on the wall. These prices do not reflect what I paid. Also, this place only accepted email money transfer. They did not accept cash/debit or credit, & did not provide me with a receipt. Furthermore, this place had electrical wires exposed to children in the play place. I have included pictures. I would like this place inspected for the health & safety of the children. I like this place inspected so they are paying proper taxes since there is no paper trail. I would like a refund for the 2 adultsBusiness response

Before arriving to this place, I checked their webpage & nowhere did it indicate that parents needed to pay. Playtown response: Our prices were changed prior to our opening on our website and a post was also put on the Facebook page about price change. However, when there is an update on a website and if it is viewed without the cache being cleared on the device, the new information does not appear which I believe was the case with the customer and that is why they missed out on this information. I have taken a picture and included the advertised prices that was posted inside the place of business on the wall. These prices do not reflect what I paid. Also, this place only accepted email money transfer. They did not accept cash/debit or credit, & did not provide me with a receipt. Playtown response: The customer is correct about the wall posting . However it was an old posting which was explained to the customer on the phone and email and we apologized for the inconvenience and also offered complimentary visit of equal value of the refund requested. Due to Covid-19, we have to cut costs and therefore we had to stop the debit/credit service and cash is avoided due to Covid. When the customer came to the facility, they were informed by the reception regarding the etransfer payment method and they went ahead and made the payment. Customer complaint: Furthermore, this place had electrical wires exposed to children in the play place. I have included pictures. I would like this place inspected for the health & safety of the children. I like this place inspected so they are paying proper taxes since there is no paper trail. I would like a refund for Playtown response: Since Playtown is an unsupervised facility, the adults sign a waiver that they are responsible for the safety of their children. This was also signed by the customer when they entered the facility and they signed out once they had completed the allocated play time. We are very sorry that the customer felt unsafe at the facility . We understand the situation and are more than happy to rectify this situation. We understand that due to Covid-19 everyone is going through a difficult time and we want to be as helpful as possible since we are all in the same boat. As a one time gesture only in this case, we are willing to offer the requested refund for the two adults for $33.90 The attachments sent in the previous email are for your reference to provide as proof that we did offer and apologized.
