I regret my decision to contribute into this fund. The earning projections at the time of sale appear widely exaggerated compared to what is actually paid out. The fees are gobbling up most of the returns and at the end, you get not much more than the money you paid in, plus the government subsidy. *** *** *** * ****** ****** ** ********* **** * ******* ******* *** ****** **** ********* *** * **** *** ****** ******* I kept the projections at the time of the sale, all annual statements and the final statement.

      * ******** **** **** **** ******* * **** *** ** ******** * ******* ** ** ** ** * *********** ******** **** uses the terminology, "It is only an illustration" when it miserably fails to yield any growth! They use a wonderfully positive 'illustration' to lure you in and then purposefully increase payouts to other clients devaluing your own plan. This was actually told to us in writing when we queried why we have a total of only $1,055 of interest for the FOURTEEN YEARS that they had our money. We have been financially violated (I want to use another word but it wouldn't be appropriate here) by this company and our son is out 14 years worth of interest for his college fund. We have canceled our plan and recovered $1209 less than what we put in 14 years ago. I warn you to stay away from this company. They now are called KFF. **** ********************* ************* ********* ************

There was a period 1) when we were not able to contribute due to serious financial challenges, 2) we wanted to increase contribution, and 3) we did a lump sum contribution. We ended up with 3 different plans for one child. I kept these plans just because I did not want to lose a lot of money (that's what a local sales person warned me when I wanted to cancel) otherwise I would have cancelled everything when a financial advisor noticed 'very tricky ways to hide fees' *************************************************************** ******* I still doubt the whole idea of their calculation.. CS is just terrible. I had to repeat the same simple question. Wrong information/ explanation was given multiple times.

In May 2021, the released EAP-2 was much less than expected. They discovered that one of my plans was LOCKED. Whatever it meant, it only sounded like a system error to me since other plans were NOT locked. I was referred to the agent Melonie at HQ for further discussion. She said, "I would not call this an error" and gave this explanation via email THE SYSTEM LOCKS PLANS WITHOUT EXPLANATION OR SPECIFIC CRITERIA AND PREVENTS THE OPERATIONS TEAM FROM PROCESSING A REQUEST FOR A PAYMENT. What? Seems like the computer system is in position of power in this company. Well, I was right that I had asked for an estimate before applying for EAPs. Otherwise no one would have noticed the 'lock'. The fund was promptly released, which was good but I was not happy that the agent never admitted it as an error with a sincere apology.

I tried to withdraw all the funds to disconnect from this company. But the online application was a nightmare. CS' email response was horrible, not even answering my question. So I reached out to a local sales associate, who had to contact KFF HQ each time. After she appreciated my recognition of system errors, finally recommended that I apply manually. Waste of my time!

*************************************************************** ********************************* My first 2 years of contribution ( $5k) basically went towards their fees right away for really doing nothing for me. I stayed for several more years and I see my returns are minimal. So I opted to transfer my funds to a bigger institution and let me tell you, the transfer out process has been a nightmare. 9 months since my bank requested a transfer out and I am still waiting. They wait until the absolute last minute to notify you of missing documents and when you call to follow up you get excuse after excuse. Low and behold this month my bank finally receives the cheque, but guess what? They can't cash it yet because Knowledge First didnt send them a specific form showing the breakdown.. I honestly feel like this company does everything they can to delay giving their customers back their money. They were pretty swift withdrawing funds but when you need the money back you have to jump through hoops and wonder if you really will ever get your money back. *******************************************************

My review is almost identical to the last person. I canceled, it took approximately 50 days to "process" then the cheque they sent would not scan. They wanted the cheque mailed back before direct depositing, which I was fine with....its been 17 business days since I mailed it and they are saying they haven't received it yet...sure *********** could have lost it but I have the strong feeling they are just screwing me around....

*************************************************************** * Return is barely anything. And mainly their words are not trusted! Be sure to record all phone calls with them you can talk to customer service as proof to use and back yourself back in court.

I've called over 3 times myself. They also told me 45 days to transfer the funds to my other RESP but it's way passed the time frame. And it's the last time I'll contact time again before I hang it over to my lawyer.

Very Ridiculous and regretted signing my son up with this company. You have to fight to ask for your money back and not to mention the fee their taking from us! Worst company every!!! *******************

Pass the words to your family and friend. Stay away this company. Safer to invest with bank or another company that doesn't change you fee!

I've been none stop reading horror stories about this company since I've been trying to transfer funds to our bank. They have countlessly told us they aren't getting the emails or faxes . It's been 5 none stop months of me trying to access these funds to have them transfer they have been coming up with every excuse possible and telling me all this ******** or waiting and the. Telling us they need more info or this or that it's sickening to know they are allowed to do this to people and basically ***** money from our children that we work very hard to put away for. They failed to tell us about the MASSIVE commission fees and other hidden fees our daughters account should have almost had $8000 in it for resp but instead there's 2500 due to them taking almost everything for themselves . How the government allows this to happen is beyond me and how this company is running is insane . I've been making sure to spread the word and let other know what is happening with us to assure this doesn't happen to others
