We admitted our puppy for the day care at Dogtopia Argentia Rd. Our purpose was to provide an opportunity for our dog to socialize with other dogs and human, while me and my partner at work. Our dog had always been very playful and submissive. However after just spending three weeks at the day care, we found very concerning amount of aggressiveness in our dogs behavior , she jumped and bit my partner several times, ran away from home on several occasions as well. Then we started following the Live Cam footage provided by the Dogtopia App., and discovered some worrisome findings. Multiple times we found other dogs at the day care was trying to hump our puppy, jumped on and pushed her away in the presence of a care taker. We called the centre straight away and requested to keep a better eye on her, and unfortunately the situation got worse by the days, Eventually we had to take our dog away from the day care and requested the branch to cancel our subscription. The branch refused to our request and mentioned we need to keep our dog in that miserable condition for at least 8 week as per the contract. For the sake of our dear puppy we stopped sending her to the day care straight away , but the branch kept charging is for weekly fees despite of us cancelling the membership more than couple of weeks ago. We reached out to the related branch, tried to talk to the office and they just mentioned "its our business policy". That's why our last resort is to reaching out for help with Better Business Bureau, and seek a fair resolution of this ***** business practice by Dogtopia Aregentia Rd, Mississauga.Business response

The recurring billing was stopped. This individual already put a dispute through their card provider which was refunded. They were given free days and only came 5 times. The “aggressive” behaviour they told us about was chewing their couch, nothing about biting. Wish them and their dog all the best.Customer response
