I purchased a NuTone central vacuum to be installed in our newly built home in 2018. The vendor installed the vacuum and billed the builder which then became part of the package that was billed to us. I never received a receipt for the vacuum. Just a couple of weeks before the 1 year mark, the power head failed. Warranty on the powerhead is one year. I contacted the vendor and had it replaced, again, no receipt. A couple of weeks before the next 1 year mark, it failed again. This time it was replaced by Broan. 1 year later, the motor failed. Warranty on the motor is 10 years. Again, it was difficult to obtain the proper paperwork that Broan required in order to honour the warrantee. I had to drive twice about 200 km each time to have it repaired and had to pay about $150 for labour not to mention the inconvenience of not having a vacuum for weeks. Now, almost another 1.5 years later, the powerhead failed AND the motor has also subsequently failed again. I called Broan about the powerhead several weeks ago but they claim not to have any paperwork showing replacements of the powerhead. Twice, I have asked to speak to a manager and my call was put through to "Natasha" but I could only leave a voice message. I have not had my calls returned. **** ******* ****** ** **** **** ******* ******** **** **** **** ******** ************ *** ****** * ** ****** ************ *** ****** I have not received satisfactory service from a company with such high regard for their products. **** **** ***** ** ****** ***** ***** ********* *** * **** ********** *** ***** I would like to have my money back or have the unit completely replaced.
