      Would not use Peel Heating again. My AC wasn't working and they sent over a technician. He poke around for an hour and was not able to diagnose the issues. While probing the amperage he accidentally 'sparked' the unit on. Charged me $350 and left. A day later the unit shut off because the AC Fan was not working. It cost me $600 (parts and labour) to have the proper repair done by a profession, who does not work for Peel Heating. Disappointed Experience,

      * *** **** **** ********** ** ********* we had ac fix in summer of 2023 and to save some money we bought maintenance plan. We kept getting call for our maintenance and finally I called them back. They sent guy so fast and first he was nice but after his do call clean up, he mentioned me heat exchanger has issue. But everything else is fine. He said he has to do one more test of CO, but instead of of doing from inside, he went out and did on my vent pipe, He said my reading is high, and unit is unsafe. I asked him what is the reading supposed to be, he said 500ppm or below. Mine had just got to 350ppm. Immediately started to push for new unit, I said no and he said he has to shut the unit off as it is unsafe. I told him, whole street had this old units. He got very aggressive so I asked him to leave my property. He told me that he is going to report me to ******** and he did. Person can, didn’t even read the reading again, just gave me violation notice and said he had to turn off the unit, this is at 4:30pm. Now we had to go thru the night and sleep in cold. We contact another HVAC technician and he came and checked our unit, and showed us how to properly check which is from inside. Reading was at boarder line but not unsafe. Most likely issue with heat exchanger. He said unit should be ok for this season and you can get it done in summer and not once said about buying new one. Even offered to sign of on notice. We asked him how much will it cost to replace with new unit since it is past 16 years, he gave us honest price and at the end we decide to get it done. In summer time when the guy came to fix ac, I had asked him the cost of replacing furnace, he said roughly 8-9k We paid 1/3 of that plus tax *******, ******, Even for ac capacitor, original estimate was about 300 including labour and part and diagnostic we end up paying over $800 Cause he had to rush to get part and instant hard start too. ****** **** **** **** ******* ***** *****

      I had an appoint recently with Peel Heating & Air conditioning. This was a call for a quote and I can say don't loose your time with them or their Sales tactic. I made it clear on the first 5min that I would not be signing anything on the spot and that I wanted to know their offering and price. The sales person on site knew that from the start and proceeded with his sales pitch and at the end started to present their pricing and "all the discount they could offer". They are not able to provide a real price and insist on trying to show a price that include government discount. The government discount is a bonus but that's part of your price. Their price was printed on their brochure which they refuse to leave a copy or a copy of any quote. I wanted them to leave a copy of the price they were offering so I can make an informed decision before I commit and they started to act up saying "we don't allow you to take a copy of any quote or take any picture of it" they even added that the price they were showing me was valid for "today only". This is not how you do business for such a large amount of money and a copy of a quote with the price presented should be left. They insisted if I don't sign today I would have to call them again because their price was valid only today. You guys are the perfect example of company I will not let into my house. You have lost 2 hours of my time and I was clear at the beginning I would not sign anything "that day". You don't go to a customer that is asking for Quote and not provide a quote. If this is how you are treating people before they have purchased a system from you then imagine how you will treat me once I have signed a paper. Save yourself the stress of bad sales practice and go somewhere else you will thank me later. This is not a company I recommend to anyone.
