    They did a water test (that doesn't check for how dirty the water is but rather how soft or hard it is) comparing tap water, bottled water and their system-purified water to prove that theirs has the least value of around 30 or less as supposed to over 100 for tap water and many more for tap water. In other words, their water was the softest so I was sold by that. The price of about $1000 seemed reasonable as well with no charge for the annual filter change.

    When you pour the "purified" water for a short while, you don't notice anything so our family drank it for about 2 weeks. I felt that the water tasted dry. However, when more water was filled (such as in a large pot), there was something like air bubbles in the water sunken to the bottom and some residue even floated to the surface. The sales rep said it was just air bubbles and the device can be replaced to ameliorate that but how about the floating residue?

    Because I discovered that the water was dirty, I decided to cancel the service. Refund was given but they charged me $150 ($169 with HST) for installation. He said that originally it was supposed to be $300 for installation fee and removal fee but he said one of the fees would be waived.

    It also took too long to confirm cancellation (and refund) as they gave me no confirmation email or message and I had to figure out myself to register and login to ********* to check my status there (where it did state that I had $0 loan to owe).

    Thank you for posting a review and we're sorry to hear that your experience was not up to standards. We apologize for your poor customer experience. We would like the opportunity to talk and investigate your feedback further. Just so we understand what went wrong, the series of events are highlighted below:
    We received your request of interest in buying a fully certified NL7 Reverse Osmosis system, post which we visited you. https://www.kentwater.ca/product/nl7-***********-water-filtration-system
    As a standard, for drinking water, we do a hardness test, a chlorine test, and a TDS test.
    We explained on our visit that a brand new pressure tank does give air bubbles for a few days and a brand new re-mineralizing filter does give some residue initially. But this does not mean that the water is dirty.
    The sale was made with complete explanation and with third-party financing, as agreed by you and signed by yourself.
    According to Section 59, cancellations can only be done within 10 days of purchase. However, we honored your dissatisfaction with the product and agreed to the return even after 15 days of purchase.
    As per the contract that you signed, there are labor charges for installation as well as de-installation. However, we gave you a 50% off on these labor charges.
    The return was done within 3 days and the third-party financing did email you back within 7 days, as mentioned.
    We only use reputed products from www.***********.com, ********************.
