We contacted Queensway Door Service, booked a service call which took place on Nov. 7, 2022 for a repair. The service man came & said they'd have to order the part and would get back to us. I contacted "Queensway" a 2nd time to see what the status was? The woman said that the service man quit without filing any paperwork. So we booked a 2nd service call which took place on Feb. 7, 2023. The 2nd service man said they'd have to send us an estimate of the repair before they could proceed. I obtained an estimate on February 9 which indicated that "estimates are valid for 30 days". I emailed them (within the 30 days) to proceed with the repair, agreeing to the estimate on March 8. I followed-up with a call to a different woman on March 9 to ensure they received my email. She said they'd call me next week to schedule because they were moving. I didn't receive a call from them, so I called again on April 17. I asked if they were still in business? The woman said yes & I explained that I was waiting to be scheduled in for a repair. She didn't apologize nor did she provide an explanation. She asked for the estimate no. again, which I provided. She acknowledged the estimate no. & said she had to verify one little thing & she'd get back to me within the hour with a date. She said jokingly to not go too far because she was going to call me back probably within 30 minutes. THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I'm shocked at the unprofessional handling of this situation. I've been patient and gave them the benefit of the the doubt regarding their sloppy service and when it comes to supply issues due to Covid, however, no effort has been made to contact me. Now I'm wondering if this is a shell company or whether they're playing some sort of ****, trying to look like a legitimate business while they clearly have questionable business practices. I would hate to have other consumers to go through these games and waste their time trying to get something repaired. This should be addressed.Business response
