Hello, My complaint pertains to ******* sunset shades ordered September 2022, invoice ****** from C&M Textiles in Ottawa. The amount paid was $15,082.11. I was advised by the salesperson and the installer that the shades require charging about once a year, however since we had them installed, they are temperamental and do not hold a charge. I have charged each one multiple times, and I never know which one will stop working next. I have to use a ladder to plug them in as the windows are large, and I was not expecting to have to charge them so much, otherwise I would have chosen a different window covering. I usually charge them for a few hours at a time, however no instructions were provided even after I requested them. I have repeatedly contacted both ******* and C&M Textiles for a resolution, however to date there is none. After finally getting through to C&M Textiles, I was told that I "fell through the cracks" (as the original salesperson left), however there has been no sense of urgency to resolve. To date, ******* has not returned any of my emails or calls. By October 2023, I was told by C&M Textiles that the motors would be replaced, however I just learned that the order disappeared and there was no follow up. I am being told again that the motors will be ordered, but I have lost faith in the process. I feel I was sold an inferior set of products, and now I have to deal with failing shades and poor customer service. I do not believe there will ever be a resolution, so that is why I am demanding a refund. Thank you.
