We were redoing our bathroom floor and I hired empty contracting to pull out the floor and re-put in a new floor. I transferred him a deposit of $500 on June 23. He was supposed to be here the following week it was the only week available. That week he said his wife was sick and could not make it but we come the following week. The following week came and his son was sick and could not make it. The following week we were on vacation and we were away. He said he would come back following week we came back. That week he said he had $2000 store from him and it was on his way here. That was for two weeks. The following week his son was sick. Keep in mind every time he said he was coming I would clear out my bathroom and get everything ready but he would never show. I would contact him it would take 2 to 3 days maybe four to respond saying he was coming 100%. Finally my husband became involved and he was barely talking to him. He was not coming or responding to any calls, emails, or texts, so I finally did some research and I found his wife on Facebook. I told her what her husband was doing and she end up transfer me $200 of my $500 deposit. She said this was terrible but he was treating me like this and she would send the other $300 deposit I made on Monday, she sent it on Sunday. My day came and she did not send it and she said to not harass her and to leave her alone.Michael ( the owner)said he would said he would give me the Monday that Tuesday and to leave his wife alone. All I did was talk to her and explain the situation and told him he was doing fraud and theft and he actually never came in my home. He said 100% he was paying me on Monday and he did not. Then he said he would do it on Tuesday in the morning which he did not. Then on Wednesday he said he would do it after lunch which he did not. He always has an excuse, a reason, or an explanation. I’ve called the police and they said it was a civil matter.
