I contracted them to move from Brampton ON to Akron Ohio. They pickedup the items on Aug 15th and over phone promised will deliver within Aug 18th. When it was picked up and in their warehouse, they quoted the contracted and delivered it only on Aug 21st. Which was only the tip of the iceberg problems that awaited. Their quote is misleading to say flat $3999 USD and then later itemized the items to list out the price. Other companies that I asked a quote were trying to do either a virtual call or the only company just took the items I listed as a list to get an approximate quote and put it as contract. The company manager Yuri when dropping off item was rude saying you should have read the contract. I contacted them several times in between with no proper answer. They charged $60 for a trash can and if they were going to itemize and do it that way then I would have been cautious. Do not deal with this company. They will be nice until they pickup your items. Then they start dictating terms. Many companies asked if the company I hired was part of a movers association. These guys are not. The reason is their ethic.Easy Moving Response

Hello *****. On multiple occasions you were told that the flat rate provided is based on a list of items that you provide us with and that are written in your contract, should you have additional items (doesn't matter what they are, there will be extra charges) If you had taken the time to properly read the contract you were signing, a lot of your concerns would have been avoided. We do apologize for the delay in your delivery, however this is also outlined in the contract, considering the distance your belongings were travelling, delays are possible. We always try our best to accommodate the delivery date, however some things are out of our control. We appreciate your feedback, and wish you all the best.Review from IsabelA

***** **** ***** ** *** ****** It pains me to have to give one star. * **** * ***** **** ***** *** The name EASY is a complete contradiction to the actual experience of contracting this company for a move from Ontario, Canada to Arizona, USA. ELEVEN days after contracted delivery date, TWO extra up-charges, TWO last minute notifications of missing scheduled deliveries, many nights of worry that I had been ******* and I would never see my money or furniture again. Just wanted to express my experience with easymoving, always we have pros and cons in our life but we need to think before we reach out someone. Pros they answers your questions and you will get quote quickly. I don't have any problem with moving persons and they are nice and humble and things are safe and no damage. Cons - contract speaks only for easymoving not for customers. My car was parked 20 days in Hamilton and they don't have tracking system. They repeated same answer whenever I called. I spent $700 for rental cars because of this delay. This was planned to deliver 2 to 3 weeks times but I got it after a month. Every time we need to call and get the update sometime they disconnect the call while we are talking with them and delayed reply for your email. I am not sure how they do local move. But if you are planning for long distance moving please think twice.Review from Lynda I

When u contacted them for a quote I was very very careful to list all the items. However I had more boxes so I knew I would be charged some more, but then in my initial quote I had a 5 piece dining set and center table and also an office chair and high I don’t add to my shipment anymore. I knew when final invoice is made there will be some deductions at least. Shipment was cleared and when it was time to deliver he says I owe them times 2 of my balance and sent me an invoice stating the things I have to pay for. Out of 6 things listed 4 of them were among the things I told them in my quote and clearly written in the document. And they didn’t deduct the dinning set and table. Says his drive told him they took everything. He says I should take it up with his driver. I spoke with his driver and the man said he never said that and he will call him and tell him again. I call the GM Yuti who was very rude and says he won’t speak to me and I must at that money. I will be filing every kind of claim I can. They still have my luggage. I have two toddlers and the process of relocating has been hard on all of us. We have nothing to it’s us now and he won’t speak or hear me and won’t return my emails even when I have sent screen shots of items.Review from Zaza Y

Really helped to our family to move our household goods from Toronto Ontario to Calgary Alberta. Price was fair and delivery time how company promised. Manager Yuri asked few times about list of our belongings and we paid exact amount which is agreed initially.Review from AK

Hiring Trans Moving for my Toronto - NYC relocation was a nightmare from which I am still trying to recover.
On top of holding my possessions hostage and extorting me to pay $1,000+ more than agreed upon, I was genuinely afraid ***********************, as the movers came late at night and were making inappropriate comments as well as asking inappropriate questions that made me feel extremely unsafe. I filed a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Services but they are backlogged so I likely won't see any of my money returned for at least several more months but below is the text of the complaint letter to give further detail on my horrible experience:
Dear Yuri [last name ommitted],
As indicated in my November 28, 2022 email, the workers that performed the pickup on my moving service in Toronto conducted themselves in a manner that was [ommitted in accordance with review guidelines]. As you are further aware, your workers arrived late on both the pickup and dropoff, and you charged me $1000USD more than the contractually agreed upon "flat rate" of $3000USD. I informed you on November 29, 2022, via telephone that I contacted the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services and they advised that this constitutes a violation of the Consumer Protection Act.
I am requesting that Trans Moving Toronto issue an immediate refund of the total $4000USD paid in light of these rights violations. Please respond by end of day this Friday, February 11, 2022 with the full amount sent via e-transfer to this email address. If you fail to take this opportunity to resolve this matter I will be forced to proceed with the complaints process through the Ministry.Easy Moving Response

Good afternoon, dear customer. We apologize for inconveniencing you and scaring you. We didn't mean to scare you in any way. The extra $1000.00 did not come from the head--the least you sent to conclude the contract and the actual list differed by two times. No moving company will work for free, just as you will not just send money to someone. You have received a detailed invoice with a complete list of additional items and their cost by the contract terms. Please, there is no need to *******, as this is provable. Things have been delivered to you. What $ 4000 can we talk about? We are sorry that you did not like our service.

I have never had such a bad experience with a move.
I moved my furniture from Toronto to Boca Raton, Florida and the truck arrived in Florida within three days. I was very impressed with the timely arrival of my furniture and twenty-one boxes. However, my experience after that was horrible. The driver, who was extremely nice and sympathetic, and another man, unloaded my belongings but not before I was told I had to pay the remaining balance I owed before they could unload. There were many items damaged. My marble top dining room table is chipped on three out of four sides and will cost $1200 to repair as per an estimate I received. My pink suede chairs are all stained with fingerprints and dirt. Three glass shelves from my wall unit were broken. The worst part is that six boxes did not arrive at all.
I called the owner, Yuri A. He offered me $100 as compensation! He hung up on me when I tried to talk to him about the damages and said I was responsible for wrapping everything up. Really?? Is that not what a moving company does? My friend also called Yuri and he will not return his calls.
