I want to mention the excellent work and assistance provided throughout the process. Although it took longer than expected, this delay was not their fault but rather a result of the necessary processing, revising, and completion time required by the government. From start to finish, it took over 2 years, but I finally received my full pardon. I am truly grateful for their dedication, patience, and professionalism, which made a significant impact on my life. I was misinformed right from the start! I was told that if I paid the $420 that was all it would cost me to get my pardon and that I wouldn't have to wait the 5 years to be eligible. Shortly after my payment I received a call from their billing department wanting another$2400. They refused to reimburse me !

In February 2018, James ******* K. spoke with our office about removing his criminal record. Details were obtained and it was recommended that a Record Suspension Eligibility Consultation would be completed to determine and confirm Eligibility for a Record Suspension. It was clearly indicated on documentation sent to James ******* K. that the amount paid was for the facilitation of a Consultation on his criminal record. The amount paid would also be credited towards the Record Suspension (Pardon) Application processing fee provided James ******* K. is confirmed to be Eligible.

In September 2018, the completed Eligibility Consultation was sent to James ******* K. outlining the research completed indicating Eligibility in April 2021. James ******* K. was never advised that our office had the ability to waive or bypass Eligibility requirements. James ******* K. was advised of the Record Suspension (Pardon) Application processing fee based on the criminal information obtained; *********************** as per the RCMP.

In November 2018, James ******* K. spoke with our office about moving forward with our services for a Record Suspension, and provided payment information for the Application fee. A payment plan was arranged and indicated on documentation sent to James ******* K.. The arranged payment was declined, and our office followed up with James ******* K. to continue services in the following few months. James ******* K. indicated in the July 2019 that he was facing financial difficulties, and there was no pressure from our office to continue with our services for a Pardon.

In February 2021, James ******* K. contacted our office requesting the original fingerprint results (CPIC), which was sent via postal mail. Our records do not indicate a request for a refund at any point in time. James ******* K. is not eligible for a refund since our services were rendered complete in 2018.

It is unclear where James ******* K. misunderstood our services or the Pardon process since it was not expressed to our office at any time.

James ******* K. is no longer a client with PWOC, since services were completed in 2018, 3 years ago.
