** *** *** ***** Purchased Ford escape in 2021 and has been nothing but issues since purchased. Outside of the many recalls( waiting on parts for over a year still) there seems to be a never ending amount of defects with the vehicle, at least 1 a month as of late all at less than 45,000 km. Nobody at ford seems to be the one to talk to just passing the issue on indefinitely. Despite boasting quality and reliability, it is anything but. ** *** *** ***** * **** * ****** ***** ******Review from Rosa M

Worst experience after all that loyalty.. In 2021, my Ford vehicle had its transmission replaced under warranty. I have always taken my car to Ford for all types of service. Given this history, I find it highly unlikely that a "NEW" transmission would fail within just 2.5 years of moderate use. When my transmission failed again, Ford quoted over $7,000 for the repair—nearly the price of a used car of the same make and model. I questioned how this could happen so quickly, but Ford had no definitive answer. Instead, they claimed the tires were installed incorrectly. If this were true, why didn't their mechanics notice during the regular maintenance and oil changes I had done at Ford? ** ****** ***** ***** ********* ****** ******* ** *** **** **** * ******** **** ***** ********* * *** ********* ***** **** **** ******* *** *** we are without any cars, because of no fault of our own. Bought a 2015 F150 Lariat. Truck has 85000km on it. Serviced religiously. This truck is unreliable as to call it a money pit. Cam phaser rattle, rear main seal leaking a second time, fuel pump calved at 80000, broken exhaust manifold bolts. Cracked valve cover. Leaking vacuum pump. IWE’s changed twice. Told to pound sand. Drove fords for 25 years. Walking away because their product is ******* and they won’t back their product. * ** ** * **** ********* *** * ** ******* ** **** ***** ***** ******* ***** ***** **** **** ** ** ********** ******** ********Review from Michelle R

**** **** * ***** I have a 2020 Ford Escape - purchased new. My second interaction with Ford Canada refusing to honor warranty work. The latest incident is a broken weld in the drivers door. Quote from my dealership" broken spot welds in the left driver door at check arm attachment points in the door assembly" There is a Service Notice for this issue - so a recognized manufactures defect, but because my weld has no rust, Ford Canada will not honor the warranty. The entire door has to be replaced. This is going to cost me between $3000 and $4000. Oh and I have purchased their extended warranty.Review from Trudy B

****** FORD CANADA - We ordered a brand new Ford F350 and received it in November of 2022. With the purchase of this vehicle we earned Ford Rewards Points. In November of 2023 we used these to order floor mats for the vehicle. We were told it would be a couple of weeks to get them in. Now here it is two months later and we still have no mats. When we phone the dealership they tell us the mats are on back order with no expected date of arrival. We asked if there were alternate mats we could get. Nope. Could we exchange the mats for other parts from the parts department? Nope, your points have now expired. If we don't like it we can call Ford Canada. So we call them. After 40 minutes on the phone they tell us they are working hard to help us, coordinating with our local dealership but they can't help us. It is hard to imagine that Ford Canada can't find a basic set of carpet floor mats for a 2022 Ford 350 XLT. **** ** *** ** *** **** ****** ****** ******* **** *** ****** Then they suggest we call the dealer. Why? They were the ones that told us to call them. **** ****** ** ***** ** **** **** ***** **** *** *** ******** * *** ***** *** *** **** *** ** *** **** *** ******* ***** ***** They should be embarrassed.Review from Tony N

**** **** **** ********** * **** ******* My Ford Ranger is a 2020 XLT model with less then 55,000km. When I was getting my brakes serviced, a large chunk of the rear passenger leaf spring just fell off. Thankfully I wasn't driving when this occurred. Often times I have a child in the back seat. The machanics have never seen this on a truck with only 54000km on it. They usually see this around 200,000km. I had my Ranger in at the Ford dealership in April when my truck was still under warranty, I paid for the extra 86 point inspection. There was a check mark by the suspension box, indicating that it was in good working order. Ford wants me to believe that in less then 5 months, the leaf spring had rusted to the point of snapping off. The leaf spring assembly is completely rusted. My truck hasn't seen a 3rd winter yet. Ford dealership refused to pay for the repair and so has Ford Canada. If I had been driving when the leaf spring snapped off, it could have been a serious accident, potentially fatal. ** ************** ** ** ***** ******** * ***** * **** ***** ****** ***** ****** ** ** ****** ** **** ******Review from Jesse H

I purchased my 2016 f150 in late 2017. **** ****** **** **** ** ***** ***** This vehicle has done nothing but cost me money to keep it on the road, I will never buy another Ford product as long as I live. Having just hit 100000km last week, here are the repairs I have had done over the last six years. - ongoing led lights flashing almost constantly on the exterior of the truck. I noticed this happen upon return from the test drive, but the sales rep stated that he was messing with the fob. This was happening so consistently that my battery would die overnight and require a boost to get to work in the morning. "couldn't replicate the problem" was what they told me, which was total ** since it happened day and night. I recorded it with my phone and their fix was to "unplug" some wires in the box of the truck. sure, it stopped, but it wasn't function properly and had less that 10 000km on it. Replaced the battery, out of pocket. - breaks and rotors front and back x2 (service package, thank ***) @ $1900 per replacement) during the second replacement a ***** ********* ********* ****** ******* *** caliper bolt on the front driver side and it was sheered off on hwy *** after some seriously intense banging while trying to stop safely. ****** **** ** ********* **** ** ******* *** *** **** *** ***** ** ****** - e brake, out of pocket - heat plate rattles very loudly during initial takeoff. Charged for new bolts. - weeks later the 4x4 vacuum component breaks while driving in two wheel drive. Out of pocket. - switch breaks and windshield wipers won't function. Fixed free of charge. - front wheel bearing goes on front driver side, out of pocket. - drive shaft replaced, out of pocket. - calipers sticking (service package) - now the rear differential is banging during turning, so im taking it to ******** to be fixed PROPERLY! I will never buy another Ford product in my life. This was my second truck and I also previously owned a car, never again.
