The company i worked for leased a truck for me from ***** **** the payments for this truck were subrtracted from my salary, so basically i paid the lease. truck is a 2019 ford F150. all payments were made on time, each and every lease payment was made. the company i work for went into bankrupcy protection and the leased truck is goign back to ford. I have been trying to purchase the truck for the buyout amount as per my contract, but for is refusing, they are sayign the truck will go to a dealer auction , I am not able to purchase the truck. the truck buyout price is approx 26$k, and the value is probably closer to 40k, becasue i have been taking really good care of it. I want to purchase the truck for the contract amount, it is unethical for Ford to try and benefit from this bankrupcy . It woudl cost them nothnig to sell me the truck per contract buyout price.

Unfortunately, we can only discuss accounts with our customers. As you mentioned, that happens to be the company you worked for.

We are sorry, but because you are not named anywhere on the contract, we cannot assist you.

I returned my car voluntarily as I was unable to continue payments during the pandemic and loss of work because if health issues. Ford Credit reported to Equifax thatbus is a Repossession. This is wrong. I personally brought the car back to the dealership. I would like this corrected. I have no documents to prove this since the seller at the dealership was unable to hive me anything. He said he’d take care of it from there, and that I would get some paperwork in the mail (which I never received). In any case, if it is a Repossession, Ford Credit should have proof of a bailiff seizing the car (which they will not be able to produce, of course). Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

I traded in my leased 2020 Ford F150 for a 2022 ****** ******* through *********** ******. The ****** dealer wrote a cheque for the payout value of my F150 and sent it to ******** **** to pay off the account. Now, 20 business days later, Ford Credit has yet to apply the amount to my account. They say they have not received payment. In the meantime, ****** is trying to help but is not getting anywhere, ******** **** is not returning my calls, and Ford Credit is claiming that it is not their responsibility to resolve this issue. I have stopped auto-debit transactions on my Ford Credit account, but not before they took an additional payment.

Ford Credit has received your payment and the account is now paid in full.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The payout/dealer purchase transaction between ******** **** and *********** ****** occurred on the 16th of September, 2021 *** *** ******** **************. As such, the payout amount was calculated as of that day.

On September 30th, 2021, Ford Credit - not having either received or processed the payout amount - took a monthly payment from my bank account, as per the automatic withdrawal agreement.

On October 21st, 2021, Ford Credit finally settled my account ********* *** ** *** ***** ************, but for the amount owing as of that day. In fact, had they processed the correct amount, my Ford Credit Account balance should be -$596.70, the amount that they took on September 30th.

I expect Ford Credit to provide me with a cheque for that amount.

      Sincerely,

      ***** *********
