beautiful furniture-Terrible discussion with owner & Manger lied Bate & switch. Went into the store in Oct 30th 2021 with 73 yr old mum. We purchased king bedframe, matching dresser & a wing chair for her. The sign on the dresser stated additional 25% floor model. While the Manager was making the bill of sale the store was rather busy so we allowed other customers to be cashed out. At one point the Manager (K) was on the phone and suddenly the dresser was sold but they did have one in stock at the warehouse in Tweed. We decided to take it so now discount. The delivery was set for approx 3 weeks later. There was no price on the wing chair she advised it was $779 the bill was charged $780, writing up the bill she asked if we wanted the ottoman. thinking it would be included however it was an additional $300. We declined that purchase (never knew a wing chair & matching ottoman would not be a set) The wing chair was not a floor model I would not buy cloth material for my 73 yr old mother during covid. There was no discount because we did not order a floor model. A few days later the Manger called and said the chair is sold as a set so you have to take the ottoman. Asking my mother if she still wanted it she complied and the Manager would charge her credit card and provide her a receipt with delivery ($100.00) The railing of the bed frame was all scratched on the left hand side. I wrote to the owner a few times, only offered a refund for ottoman. They lied saying the chair was a floor model purchase. No it was not I would not agree & there would be the discount added to the bill for floor model if it was. Even delivery made a comment about scratches, & I advised I was not content having a chair with pulls, dust floor model in my home. Owner refused to take back the chair refund the diff for the dresser at 25% bc the dresser was available 3x I went in the store later. Owner raised her voice to my husband out $5K the dresser still had no sold sign
