    Our experience with Harold M. was the most horrid business transaction we have ever experienced. Our daughter, at 18, had an accident (not her fault) with her 2006 **** ******* that she had just purchased 3 months earlier. It was a write off. The insurance company adjuster, naturally, came in with a low ball offer on her vehicle. She hired Harold on a recommendation of a family friend. She paid him via e-transfer $350 A Couple of weeks later, she called him to check on progress. He didn't know who she was...and he kept calling her by another name. She had to re-peat the whole story to him, again, giving all the details they had already discussed in the first conversation This happened again, and again! She would call...and he didn't know who she was. He would claim that he didn't keep records on a computer, because he didn't want her information to be stolen, and he also didn't want to clog up his computer. Understandably, our daughter was quite upset. She finally let us start listening in on her phone conversations so that we could understand what she was describing to us. Harold had to start from scratch each time he spoke with her! There were several phone conversations that both my husband and I tried to intervene, as Harold was talking over our daughter, not allowing her to speak, or ask questions. Even with our interception, he did the same to us. Talking over us, yelling even. There was one terrible conversation where my husband and he got into a screaming match. Ridiculous! He **** ***** to us about putting the certificate in the mail. Said he sent it via Registered mail ****** ****, but couldn't prove it, because he "doesn't keep receipts!" Then, tried to say he would send it via *********...at our cost. NO PROBLEM we said...just get us the paper work we have been waiting MONTHS for. ********* didn't come. Now, the excuse comes that our daughter never paid him... In the end, we had to travel over an hour to pick up ourselves!
