In August of 2021 the owner of Wicked Garage came to our home and picked up my 1987 Austin Mini to run some diagnostics and come up with a plan to repair it. We agreed that a wiring harness would be ordered, a new keyed ignition would be installed, and that an exhaust leak would be fixed. I e-transfered $3,000.00 to cover the ordering of the harness, the ignition, and some of the labour. They were going to keep my car over the winter INSIDE and work on the agreed items at their leisure. I showed up last Spring only to find my car had sat outside the entire winter, rotting away, and the only work that had been done was the installation of the ignition. The wiring harness had not even been ordered and the exhaust was not repaired. There was a 'new manager' on site, ***** ********, who apologized profusely and said to give him a bit of time to find a wiring harness to order and then check back with him. I checked back in a month and the shop had apparently closed down. No one had contacted me. My car had been brought to another property with still no other work that was done to it. I have tried to contact the owner requesting they transport my car back to my property and give me a full refund, with no response. At this point my car has sustained damage from neglect and I feel I have been robbed of $3,000.00 since I have not received services for the amount paid.Initial Complaint

We were contacted by the owner after inquiring of services & availability for restoration work to our vehicle. We had seen the website, liked their work & ability to have restoration, mechanical work, paint & other repairs done all in one spot. The owner was very willing & on May 18, 2022 came to see the car; after some discussion provided verbal estimate & committed to taking the vehicle on (said shop was fully staffed, slow at moment & could commit to 4-6 week timeline). He assured we'd be provided progress photos, weekly updates & billing breakdowns for work performed to date. We provided a deposit at pick up & the following day were given a full detailed estimate with note of deposit received. At this time additional funds were needed to begin ordering parts, & these were sent to the owner on May 19 & 20. After a week we called to receive updates, & no response. A week later we called again, both to the owner and shop & left messages. During the next few weeks we called & texted, without response. The first response was via text on Jun 16, 2022 where the owner said he'd call back. On Jun 27, 2022 we felt it important to make the 4 hour drive to the shop at 731 rue industrielle to see progress & upon pulling up noticed signage removed, vehicles abandoned & a quickly emptied shop remaining. We filled a police report & were told the building owner had locked it up due to long time non-payment of rent, etc. Police came by & spoke with us, & shortly after another individual came, parked & looked in the windows of the shop as we had just done. He, like 2 others that came by in the hour we were on premise, had taken vehicles for repairs, restoration, etc., some started & in pieces, some not even on premise, funds paid without delivery of goods or contact from owner in weeks. The owner called us back after 9 attempts to reach him requesting to sever ties & get refund, & were told work had commenced & parts were ordered. Vehicle was found abandoned & damaged.
