This business has violated Section 54 of the Competition Act. I have attempted to appeal this through a direct complaint submission on their website based on common ethics. My hope was that they would take my complaint seriously, investigate, and properly train their employees that Cinnibon does not uphold such practices. I was shocked that the reply indicates that Cinnabon willfully upholds these practices. I did not pay this outrageous attempt to overcharge, and as such seek no personal damages. I just want them to stop cheating people. I would like the BBB to attempt resolution prior to my submitting an official complaint to the Competition Board. I can make my original complaint to Cinnabon available to you and their reply, but this windows allows insufficient characters to fit this information. To be brief: Cinnabon has attempted to charge me a 30% higher price for 6 of their product than the price advertised on their own sign in their store. I didn't pay and said I would file a complaint. The complaint received an unsatisfactory response that indicates double-ticketing is an allowable Cinnabon policy in certain described situations which didn't take place in my situation, and is still illegal in the competition act. I have waited a reasonable time for further response on my issue, but it is apparent that no investigation has occurred and no reasonable resolution is forthcoming. Their complaint process seems to be shady. I still cant believe that any reasonable business would do such a thing, and this may be something senior management is unaware of. I would like to give Cinnabon another chance to make this right, but I do not have any trust that their current process can get me in touch with the president. Can you please investigate this on behalf of all all consumers?
