I contacted Dr Bumper in Oct, 2023 to repair the bumper on my SUV. I spoke with the ***** (***), made an appointment and agreed to the repair cost of $2300. I paid a deposit ($1000) and returned a week later. When the car was at his shop, he called to say that the fog light was broken and that he had found one in Toronto that could be here in a few days. I paid the balance of the bumper repair and he also asked that I pay for the for fog light assembly in FULL ($650), as he told me that he had to pay for this out of his bank account. I agreed and he said he'd call the following week to schedule time to finish the job. It was now November, 2023. The following week I contacted him (b/c I didn't hear back) and he said that the wrong part was sent, but he found another one. I again waited a week and called back....he again said that the part was received damaged. Another week went by and he assured me that another part was on its way. December came and was still making excuses as to why the part didn't come in. In early Jan I contacted him again and I asked for a refund, sensing that I was never going to receive the part. He said that it was in, and he told me to come in the following week. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday, Jan 16th and when I arrived, the shop manager was confused, as the part wasn't in (he called *** in front of me, who said that it was in the "warehouse"). I left the car and got a call from the manager saying that the part was not in the warehouse and that if I wanted a refund, I could get one. When I picked up the car, I was told that *** was the only one who could offer a refund, and he was in Toronto. I called him and he promised it would be done by the end of the day. I've since called him every other day, and he promised a refund by the end of the day. It's been weeks and still nothing, despite a demand letter being sent. I am clearly being given the run around and have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional.Initial Complaint

Ordered a Fender from Dr Bumper Dec 10 2022. Was told it would be 2 week delivery, paid 50$ for delivery. Was told twice my order had been shipped, I asked for a tracking #, I was told they dont have a tracking # as the use "Same day " shipper. Fender still hasnt arrived, today is March 3,2023. I asked for a refund, they send me an obscure email not details saying I would be refunded, pending...through *******. I asked for a confirmation #, they said, there was not confirmation #. The owner said he would call me back today, he did not. I called him, his front desk person said ," he is not here" I said put him on the phone, I said this 3 x , finally he got on the phone. His name is ***. Supposedly Im am being refunded $271.45, but I have no way to track the refund. Terrible business practice!!Business response
