I purchased a 2019 Honda Ridgeline from Ottawa Honda used car division with my Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 as a trade in on March 15. The vehicle will be ready on on March 21st 2022 for me to pick up. Without explaining to me or asking me about a $399 add-on they call Ride Green, it was automatically added to the price of the used vehicle! The sales person explained to me that this fee was manadatory and this add-on as for tire protection and car washes for three years! I am taking this vehicle 150km's away and do not require free car washes! Then in a year this vehicle is being shipped to the Caribbean's! The dealer refuses to remove these fees! This fee is not mandatory but optional so I was lied to. My expected outcome for making this complaint is be reimbursed this fee + Quebec Tax since I am a Quebec resident = $399 + 14.975% tax for a total of $458.75.Customer response
