I sent them my think wool Chinese carpet. They damaged the underbelly with their machine and did not actually clean the carpet. Still with stains and a mall fix on fringe with twine. The fring fix was done in a childish incompetent hand, and not as requested I was being delivered my carport in worse condition than I had gave them. This **** altered the original fring with twine The stains are still in carpet And the backing of my carpet is cut and damaged Worst of all!Not clean and charged over a thousand four hundred dollars!

We were contacted by Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services (OAHS) to pickup ****************** rug as it had been affected by mold, which would have been grown after it had been exposed to dampness or allowed to sit after being fully wet from a source of water.Mold and wetness will usually cause weakeness and damage to both the fibres and body of rug. This was the case with this rug, it arrived in terrible condition. We performed an inspection, noted damage and provided a quote for deep cleaning, mold treatment and communicated by email a specific plan for repair - "Restore weak and damaged areas - Strengthen weak sections affected by mold, repair damaged and missing fringes, all woven in to blend".We completed the services after approval was given. The repairs were performed by *********************, a valued expert in conservation and restoration, and member of ASCR ( *********** of *********** in Cleaning and Restoration). He has since retired, but was asked if he remembered this order from months ago and if he could offer and input. His comments are as follows - " So, sorry they feel this way, but I recall this rug was in terrible condition, I think there appears to be an ignorance reflected in their comments. I saw this rug before. They are being less than genuine to say the least. Its funny how the most dirty neglected rugs, all of sudden become perfect items in their mind. Their comment on the repair is ridiculous. They clearly have no idea what was done to improve this severely damaged item. No twine was even used in this job. Matching cotton fringe was used through out. Please know, that hundreds of fringes were woven into this carpet. A minimum of two hole areas were filled due to bad damage and what appeared to my eye to be serious neglect. ( I remember this well, as the job ended up taking twice the work quoted to make a nice overall finish.)This carpet had extensive fringe refurbishing including both ends of the carpets fringe. An actual piece of matching Chinese fringe was woven into the area where a significant piece was missing. This was so it would blend better and match the original more closely. All other areas were woven in by hand. The cost to actually re-weave the damaged fringe like original in the large hole area would have doubled repair costs. It would also have shown more and it would have cost more than the rug.Afterwards, the rug was remarkly cleaned and the fringe dramatically returned to a neat format. Guess you cant please everyone."

This is a false implied statement by customer. The company lied to cover up the damage to rug.No copy of alleged email sent by owner of rug to company as quoted above.
