I was surprised today that they showed up and applied fertilizer to my lawn. Why ? 1. I purchased a lawn care service last year. While I was talking to the sales person over the phone and also communicating over email prior to my payment, the sales person never mentioned that this is not only just subscribing service for this year but all the followed years you will still be getting service. 2. I did not receive any notification that there will be fertilizer to be applied on my lawn today. No notice. When I called Nutri-Lawn, my answer from the representative is that in your confirmation email from last year, you should see " multi year subscription". That means I am subscribed to this service annually. Does this make any sense? Did I ask for the same service every year? Did you ever mention that to me before I made the payment last year? It definitely sounds like you are forcing me to subscribe automatically. I already paid for a different lawn care service. Because of this, I had to call them to skip for the service I paid, and then pay 40 bucks for this one visit from Nuti-Lawn that I was not expecting at all. I am not aware that I am subscribed to this years plan at all. All the emails I got from Nutri-Lawn is about subscribe now save xxx. If I was already subscribed why you send me such emails to confuse me? Why don't you send email to notify me about upcoming service like what you did last year? Why don't you email me about my service summary/statement for this year? Lack of these from you, should I still be getting service from you?Nutri-Lawn Service Group Response

Hi *****, We are sorry to see the poor review that you gave us. You spoke with our sales supervisor and the issue was discussed. We are happy to reiterate. You called our office on April 13th upset that we provided service for you, and you thought you didnt ask for it, nor did we pre-notify you, so you thought. Here are the facts: 1.On July 23, 2021, you booked lawn care with ****. At that time, you opted into the Multi-Year subscription services plan. With that, you receive a 5% discount on all subscription services. The services continue from year to year until you contact us to change or cancel. You agreed. 2.On October 26, 2021, an email was sent to you showing the services for 2022 that are scheduled. 3.On November 9, 2021, a letter was mailed to you showing you the services for 2022 that are scheduled. We included a terms and conditions insert as well. 4.On February 27, 2022, another letter was mailed to you showing the services for 2022 that are scheduled. 5.On March 6, 2022, another email was sent to you. 6.On April 3, 2022, an email newsletter went out to you and all active clients telling you what to expect in the month of April with your services. 7.On April 10, 2022, a voice message was sent to you and all active clients advising you that the services were starting. 8.On April 12, 2022, the night before we did your first fertilizer application, a pre-service notification was emailed to you. 9.On April 13, 2022, an after-service email was sent to you advising what services were performed and what our technicians observed on your lawn. When you called on April 13th and spoke with our supervisor, he walked you through all of the steps that we took to make sure you knew exactly what you opted-in for. **** took the time to have you go through your emails to search for our communications. After some time, you found them. In your words, you thought they were spam and chose to ignore them. So, I am sure that once you review the statement of events, you can see that we went over and above normal standards to ensure that we had good communication with you despite the fact that you chose to ignore them. Respectfully, *********************, OwnerReview from Percival H

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I made the unfortunate mistake of signing up for lawn care services with these folks in 2021. Fortunately, I was home during the day a couple of times and was able to witness on 2 occassions where they attended and did not complete the tasks being paid for. It was so egregious and blatantly unprofessional (not spraying an entire area) that I called them to complain and the worker returned and she then sprayed the area (backyard) that she completely ignored the first time. In my line of work I have dealt with many dishonest individuals and businesses and I saw the same traits in this company, so I knew that I did not want their services in the future. They tried to automatically renew the services and I made it clear that the answer was "NO" and I went as far to remove my payment and as much information as I could from their online portal. Yet they still persisted in calling me and bombarding me with emails, sometimes simultaneously. They would phone and then also send an email at the very same time! This is harassment. I sent them an email directing them to remove me from their calling and mailing lists, which they stated they did on March 4, 2022. Yet the calls started coming again on March 23rd, interrupting my work day. I work in law enforcement and I need to focus on my job, not constantly dealing with unethical, annoying people that cannot take no for an answer. Another colleague of mine had a similar issue with them in the past. This needs to stop and others need to know about the Nutri-Lawn's business practices before signing up with them. If this does not stop, then I am prepared to use other legal methods to make them stop.Nutri-Lawn Service Group Response

Hello *******************, Let me start with the last issue first, namely that we called recently after you asked us not to contact you about lawn care. We have taken all precautions to document that you do not want to be called regarding lawn care. We have not called you about this service. We did, however, contact you following up on an irrigation system installation quotation that you asked us for on June 17, 2021. At that time, we were full for that season, so we were calling to allow you the opportunity to book now for ***************************** business there is a presumption that the requested estimates will be followed up with the intention of discussing the service in a professional manner. We are not in business to give free advice or free quotes. While our quotes are free, we do it with full intention of selling the service, or at least having the opportunity to discuss it. Regarding lawn care, you are correct. Our technician did make a mistake in the service area, and we did correct it the same day that you brought it to our attention. We made an error, we corrected it, and we made notes to be sure to include the missed area the next time. We did also call you to inform you that you had damaging insects on your lawn on the same day. Our technician provided a thorough assessment while she was there. *******************, we did make a mistake and made all efforts to rectify it. I wish you the best with your future service companies. Respectfully and with kindness, *********************, Nutri-Lawn service groupReview from Lee

I signed up for lawn treatment with Nutri-Lawn last year and noticed that they rarely came. I regularly called them to ask when they would come and I was told fairly soon...but then another week with pass with no treatment. I called them up and explained that I was dissatisfied and wanted to discontinue service. Unfortunately, they came again this year while I was away and charged me for the service. Now I am expected to pay for service that I did not consent to receiving.
