      Date of the issue : 02/22/2022 I brought an external hard drive to the PC room for data recovery. Not only did they charge me $75 to assess the damage when they told me the damage assessment was free, but they stripped the hard drive of its' external shell and damaged it further, from the report the forensic data recovery company I shipped the remains to told me. I have a copy of their report in email that I am willing to submit to you.

      We never charge if we did not recover some data or we provided other services, we don't really remember this repair, but you can come over to our store,

      I am rejecting this response because: the PC room already told me that they could not repair the damage (they did not tell me they would damage it further) so I sent the drive to BC to be repaired by *************. It is they who noted that the drive had been further damaged beyond the work needing to be done. The PC Room charged me $75 for the assessment, and they removed the casing for the harddrive also.None of this is acceptable and the data is delicate - and in need of retrieval. To allow for further damage to happen would be irresponsible.

      On Wednesday, Nov 3, 2021 I purchased a refurbished **** **** desktop computer. It was picked up on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. Since there were several issues with the computer that was refurbished with cannibalized used parts, I returned it on Saturday, Nov 6, 2021. Request full of $339 due to my dissatisfaction with the quality of the purchased merchandise as per the Buyer's Remorse Law of Ontario and the Consumer Protection Act. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Addendum Note Consumer Protection Act, c 30 Schedule A, s6, s7 PART II - CONSUMER RIGHTS AND WARRANTIES Procedure to resolve dispute (3) Despite subsections (1) and (2), after a dispute over which a consumer may commence an action in the Superior Court of Justice arises, the consumer, the supplier and any other person involved in the dispute may agree to resolve the dispute using any procedure that is available in law.  2002, c. 30, Sched. A, s. 7 (3). > Quality of goods (2) The implied conditions and warranties applying to the sale of goods by virtue of the Sale of Goods Act are deemed to apply with necessary modifications to goods that are leased or traded or otherwise supplied under a consumer agreement.  2002, c. 30, Sched. A, s. 9 (2).

      very sorry to hear that, all our refurbished products come with one year warranty, incase something goes wrong, but if you are not happy with your purchase, we will issue a full refund, customer satisfaction is our number one priority, we will look into it and get back to you, but can you please send us the Invoice number, so we can find your order.
