I took an extra large fairly new California King size white comforter into The Dry Cleaner @ 2210 Bank St for a cleaning. This was done late November 2021. I have 2 comforters I use one white one in summer and black in the winter. I picked the White one up at the Dry Cleaners and of course due to its size it is folded up many times on a hanger. It did not appear to look the same in regards to it's puffiness compared to when I took it in. I will attach photos to help see the difference. June or July 2022 I took this comforter out of my closet to put on our King bed and it was obvious the material in the comforter was damaged and it had greatly shrunk when it was put on the bed!! I immediately contacted the dry cleaner manager on July 3, 2022 and she asked for me to send an email with photos to which I did. Today is Friday August 26, 2022 and with many phone calls, emails, text messes which most have been ignored by the business owners I have had no resolution and I feel I have waited enough time. The manager shared that she has been in contact with ******* ******** who cleaned the comforter. ******* ******** to the best of my knowledge is a reputable company and this should not have happened. I expect to be re - imbursed the cost of my damaged comforter to which they still have, and the cost of the cleaning. I have attached a before picture and after cleaning picture. If you require copies of the emails I can provide that but was unclear how to copy and attache on this form. Thank you and I would appreciate acknowledgment of this email complaint. ** *******
