I would recommend that you avoid this business if you believe in the importance of wearing masks to fight Covid. I was just there having some keys cut and was appalled to see many of the employees being very lax or completely disregarding masking policies. The guy that cut my keys had the mask under his nose, which bugged me but I was willing to let slide, then I saw another employee walking all over the store with his mask pulled way down, chomping on some nuts and then just leaning on a counter maskless for a while until I caught his eye, shook my head, pointed to my mask to which he rolled his eyes and pulled it up. I decided to look for a manager to talk to and was horrified to see him completely maskless (hanging off an ear) BELLOWING (aka SPEWING) across the store at his employees to go tend the registers. I didn't want to get anywhere near that maniac, so I paid for my keys and got out of there. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't completed the transaction, but I really needed the keys ASAP and I was sort of stunned. I also regret complaining to the very polite and appropriately masked cashier who probably has to deal these sorts of complaints regularly, not to mention potentially being exposed to Covid by her irresponsible co-workers. The guy behind me, wearing a loose-fitting, dirty, insane clown bandana, (so that gives you some idea of the high-quality human we're dealing with) decided to contribute his two cents to say that if you're vaxxed, it shouldn't matter, which I guess is the belief of many of the customers as well as the management there, BUT THAT IS NOT THE SCIENCE. Vaxxed people can still get it and can definitely pass it around by not wearing masks indoors which means more mutations and break-out strains that, at some point, the vaccines become useless against. I'll definitely be following up with the *** and Ontario Public Health because these bozos are what keeps this nightmare rolling. I'm very sad to say I can't imagine shopping there again, because it's a family-owned neighborhood institution very close to wear I live, that I really used to love. In the before times, I would've given 4 stars, minus 1 because it's on the pricy side, but now I give it 1, because 0 is not an option.
