I'm a coordinator with *****. I emailed Bent Nails for clarification on May 10th, regarding their home inspection reports completed for some ***** homeowners. Several reports say "by code" and I asked if they could site the code for a few items to clarify things on my end and for me to know if those items would be warranted as per Tarion or not. Instead of responding, Bent Nails chose to take a section of my email and post it on social media to glorify themselves - whereas I was asking to work together. They still haven't cited the code for me. Instead of receiving an answer I was threatened - "an email will be sent to ***** and I am #6" (please see the attachment), #6 as in on their hitlist or what? If someone is advising homeowners that items in their house are not up to code - then they should be able to cite the code they are referring to? I intended to work amicably with Bent Nails but they clearly have a hatred for Builders, as per their social media posts. I have all the email correspondence and all social media comments that transpired. As a local business instead of creating animosity between the builder and homeowner, while they should definitely be looking out for their clients, should encourage a positive relationship between builder and homeowner in the community they practice. They should remove their social media posts providing false/misleading advertisement - I did ask questions, but questions regarding their work not how to build a house from scratch. If I'm trying to work with you - what kind of professional response is "I try to help your company and you’d much prefer to spit in the face of everyone, best of luck. I don’t have time for you." I am not speaking for everyone, just trying to do my job. Please see my email attached.

I'm not paid to do her job for her. You're not worth my time, if you have a problem go speak to your company lawyer.

I speak to lawyers and judges.

Here's a little tip for you, google "gfci in laundry room canada code" you'll learn a lot for american and canadian. try afci as well."

I am rejecting this response because: That is a response from a professional? No one asked them to do my job, I'm seeking clarification which is part of my job and yet still they have no answer and cannot cite code. Instead I'm told to rely on google.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *******
