      On April 21st, 2022 Weedman’s employee came out to do the first visit of the season. They applied the Spring Granular Fertilizer to our lawn. My father had came outside to see the application. They left lots of spots over the lawn and threw a bunch of fertilizer over the driveway. Then, we called them and complained about this issue so they came out again and reapplied the fertilizer. We weren’t satisfied with the service as there were many spots still missing with the fertilizer that really needed it. I had to apply my own from the store to cover up the spots they missed. Then, on May 06, 2022, they came out to do the weed control (spraying the weeds). At this point my father was fed up with the service after they “completed” it. Solely because they weren’t applying enough anywhere. There were so many weeds across the lawn just left untouched. To fool me they said it’ll take time for them to burn give it a couple days. Waited a couple days and nothing happened. To the small area where they applied some weed control to, it burned the top of the weeds. I called them and said I’m done with the service I don’t want it the service is horrible. A couple days ago I received a notice in the mail saying I need to pay for those two services that they came out to do despite, the lack of effort, and product used. I believe this is totally unfair because I’m not wanting to pay for such a garbage service. I’m using this complaint as a last resort because I want to let them know how bad it feels going through the struggle. I called them and they said I have to pay even after I explained to them my situation. I don’t want to pay a single penny to these guys after their horrible service.

      Mr. **** I am sorry to hear of your disappointed in our service. We hade only serviced your lawn twice over a two week period and this is not enough time to create a large change in your lawns health.  You contacted our office a week after the fertilizer was done suggesting areas of your lawn had no signs of fertilizer on it.  We sent our a manager to access your lawn the next day and noticed that you had bare areas with no grass and couldn’t see fertilizer in these areas which is possible given the time laps from service date and the fact the fertilizer could easily wash away from these bare areas into the surrounding grass, but we reapplied extra fertilizer to make sure your lawn was taken care of.  We then competed your first weed control May 5th 2022 this was your first out of three scheduled weed control visit for the season.  In June, we notified you we were coming out to apply the second weed control application at which time you texted us and said cancel not happy.  One weed control will not control all weeds in your lawn that why we book 3 for you during the course of the year its not a one and done application it takes multiple application to control weeds and in some cases more then the 3 we schedule you for that why for each person lawns we offer unlimited reapplications of our service.  Some weeds are tougher and more resilient than others and take multiple applications to control them and new weeds germinate throughout may and June any weed control is a contact treatment.  Your balance for two services completed is $145.86 I will remove interest and 1 service cost and close your file at $65.90 if paid by Aug 19th 2022.

      Weed Man's sales person when called at my door I requested a quote. But they proceeded to provided 1 service, ( I was not home at the time of service) that was not requested, they never provided a quote. When I saw their lawn sign, I called their office and left a message that this service is not required. When the service man arrived to do the 2 service, I immediately told him that I do not want him to proceed and I had already called your office to stop this service. Now I have received an invoice for the service, and getting reminders by mail and recorded messages for overdue payment. I also have written letters to the manager at their Scarborough office. * **** **** **** ** **** ***** ***** *** **********

      Mr. *****, 
      I have reviewed your account in detail and on March 30th, 2021, we contacted you by phone at which time services and prices were discussed during this time an agreement was made and you entered a verbal contract for lawn care services for 2021.  One service was completed on April 24th, and you cancelled the second service when our technician was on site, and it was never completed.  One of our supervisors contact you and offered to play the verbal recording which you refused to hear. 

      I will remove the invoice from your account and no payment is needed, your new balance is $0 as of today August 30, 2021.  We will not be contacting you in the future and No payment is needed.
