This dealership is wonderful, in my experiences with them. The sales man was friendly, confident, and willing to work with my budget while I was searching for a new vehicle. In the years following that purchase, the service department has always worked with me to resolve my issues, or understand my frustrations from Hyundai Canadas hidden gems, like items not being covered in the extended warranty. They are always quick to answer calls, set service appointments and address concerns.Review from William M

I have a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe which had an extended warranty until May 2022. Also brought vehicle in in March 2022 for oil change to Surgenor Hyundai.Had a safety check done September 2022 where they found that my AWD transfer case and coupler was leaking and would cost about $3000. Said that this must have happened after my warranty ended in May 2022. Service manager unwilling to even discuss possibility of paying for half the estimated cost. I am very unhappy with this as if it was discovered under warranty before May 2022 then it would have been covered.The safety check in September ************************************************************************************************************************************ for an oil change on March 2022.To get the safety check I had to replace both rear shocks and tires which should have been pointed out in March 2022 during my routine oil changes. Although this is regular wear and not covered under warranty why was it not pointed out before. There were a number of other items I changed (serpentine belt, right stabilizer link, etc) that were not strictly for the safety check but should have been pointed out in March during my routine oil change when I was under my extended warranty. Maybe some of these items would have been covered.I would highly recommend anyone with an extended warranty to get a detailed safety check a week before date of expiry as it is very hard to prove later what occurred even a day after the warranty expires. I am very unhappy with how I have been treated by the Surgenor Hyundai service manager and question if my extended warranty expiry date of May 2022 influenced what repairs were suggested that I make for my safety check done September 2022.Review from Julie R

We have been dealing with them for the past year for what I'd like to call "a glitch" with the electronics of our 2018 *************** We have brought the car in at least 4-5 times this past year, the last time being earlier today as it was towed in with a video clearly demonstrating what is going with the car. Only to be told a few hours later, "they found corrosion on the negative of the battery" - a battery that they changed and charged us 5 months ago! This vehicle has barely ****** KM and is still on warranty!When I asked earlier to speak to the Supervisor, I was transferred to a colleague rather than the Supervisor. They clearly do not care. At least the technician with whom I dealt with in person while the vehicle was being towed in morning had more empathy in trying to solve the matter than brushing me off.
