Poor communication about the service my dog was getting today and ended up with him getting a full shave. They shaved our dog down to the skin without consulting us, despite my husband showing them a picture at drop off of the length and style we wanted for him. Our dog likes going outside on regular walks and he will be incredibly cold on our walks now. Our dog also seems very distraught upon return home, so unsure of his treatment there. I called the business after to ask for an explanation as to what happened and the staff who picked up spoke aggressively to me, stating that we need to brush our dog more often. She accused me of not knowing what I was talking about because I did not drop off the dog or pick him up. Felt like I was being mom dog shamed; sorry that only my husband was able to drop him off. Didn’t think he needed a full inspection by both his mom and dad at drop off and pick up. We brush our dog regularly and his regular groomer never has issues. Our regular groomer was fully booked this Thanksgiving weekend so we decided to go to Posh Puppies. Will never go to Posh Puppies again. Terrible communication and no accountability. Terrible cut. My dog seems anxious now. No effort to even wash or try and brush him out, they just went straight to shaving him. He’s been groomed regularly for the past 11 years and this is by far the worst grooming service we’ve ever had. Horrible customer service. Have never left a review on BBB before but this has to be said, because this was such a horrible experience.
