      It's been over 5 months of trying to have curtains installed in our great room. We were initially quoted $320 for a curtain rod and installation and we were ignored when trying to schedule an installation. After a couple months, we had to go to a store where we were quoted at $430, with no explanation as to the price increase. Installation was scheduled and the installer arrived, but told us the window was too high and he didn't have the equipment necessary to install it, even though we expressed the size of the window multiple times in both writing and in person (this was the third blinds to go installer to show up unable to work due to the window height). We've now been contacted that our installation would cost an extra $500 on top of what we already paid. This is not the price that was agreed to and we have already paid part of our already inflated bill. I am going to cancel this order that I've wasted more than 5 months trying to complete because I honestly don't know if this location is scamming me (500 *******************, ******** Extremely frustrated with the customer service I've received and I will certainly not be using Blinds To Go for any other window in my house.

      The in-home consultant arrived late, but before she showed up, she called and said that my number was wrong why she couldn't reach me earlier- despite me receiving the store's automated texts on my cell. I booked a day for installation ,and they cancelled it late on the night before. On the new installation day, the installer put up all 6 blinds, then left the packaging behind. About a week later, we noticed that one of them was installed incorrectly. The same installer returned, was extremely passive aggressive with the fact that he was aware of a manufacturer defect, installed them anyway without saying anything, that we were the only people to complain about it, but that if we absolutely couldn't live with it, that he would take them back, and have them replaced in about a week. After about 3 weeks, I contacted the store to inquire. The in-home consultant called to verify what happened because the installer had no recollection of his in-home visit after the installation, including walking away with the defective blinds. About one week after that, the consultant texted me to ask how many blinds the installer took, and that she would check a certain store again. I asked if she could call me whenever she's available (because she never answers my call),but I still haven't heard back from her. I find it unbelievable that the installer made a big deal about us not accepting imperfection even after paying so much money for them, doesn't remember taking down the previously installed blinds, and taking it away with him- especially since he tried to make us feel bad that we were the only people to not be able to live with it the way it was. The company itself is useless at communication and resolving problems, and now we're caught up in a he said/she said position. There's absolutely NO way that I'll ever give Blinds to go my money again. But I'm definitely going to continue the fight to at least get the blinds back without imperfections, and installed correctly.
