Our experience is almost identical to another review by a customer who had great difficulty and delay in getting their fully refundable $500. deposit on a new vehicle.Here is ours: Due to repeated delays from Peterborough Hyundais commitment to actual delivery dates, as well as to a death in our family we were offered a very appealing, lightly used, family-owned vehicle. Of course we accepted that alternate availability and we informed the Peterborough Hyundai salesperson (JT) of this ASAP, on June 12. He indicated the refund cheque would take 3-4 weeks. Today is July 27; there has been NO responses from anyone at Peterborough Hyundai in spite of multiple requests for same. And to date, still no refund ! Interesting thing is that my deposit involved an instantaneous couple of keystrokes, but their refund would be by cheque, in 3-4 weeks. What kind of operation is so primitive and non-existent with their business communications, lengthy response time, and to date, NO REFUND! Caveat emptor!

Has called me six times in less than two months. My husband was also receiving excessive calls, asked them to remove him from the phone list, and was hung up on. During the next call, he asked to speak to a manager and for both of us to be removed from the call list. I have since recieved two calls, he has recieved one call, one flyer, and two texts. We haven't bought anything in over five years and are extremely sick of receiving automated calls. Terrible business practice.Peterborough Hyundai Response

Good morning, Thanks for the information provided. My name is ****** ***** (GM) and I would like to explain this situation. Our dealer promote Sales events every month with a third company named "******** *******". This company take and work with our database. The Sales Event consist on making cold sales phone calls to identify potential customers to upgrated vehicles. In this case im assuming customer Breen solicitaded been removed from the system however company keep calling customer. We understand customer frustation specially when received several phone calls. Our dealer already contacted ******* ****** to remove customer completely from database so in the future this will be prevented.
