I placed an order from Bethanie Kaye Design (through her website) for a wooden 'sculpture' on March 28, 2021. I had a discount code (as I have previously bought from Bethanie with no issues) that also included free shipping due to a prior order shipping delay. The code wasn't working to give me free shipping at checkout so I selected "Peterborough Porch Drop" knowing she would see that my shipping address was in New Brunswick. My order # is ***** and I spent $231 CAD. My **** was charged but I never received my item. Figuring things were delayed with Covid I reached out in May through her website to inquire. She did reply (in June) but said she couldn't read my message so I re-sent - she never got back to me. In July I wrote to her via ******** messenger and she finally wrote back - apologizing and that she'd look into it. I have sent her no short of 10 messages through messenger & email and have not received a single reply since July.Business response

Oh goodness, ****! I feel absolutely horrible about this. I am so very happy to send through a refund, and I would like to make you a new piece. From what I can see that happened:
a discount code was used for free shipping and a discount on an item in my shop. The discount portion of the code worked, but the free shipping portion did not. In the shipping section, the “Peterborough porch drop” was chosen. This was not a local porch drop as you don’t live in Ontario. All shipping, social media, and email correspondence isn’t handled by me, the business owner personally. I have employees that take care of these things for me, and quite obviously the ball as been dropped here. I will also be looking into what happened on my end with my staff. There is NO excuse for this to have gotten to this point. I am very glad that I opened my email this morning.
