****** ****** (***) said he & twin brother have 25 yrs experience. He explicitly confirmed he &/or brother would be on job. Paint mobile home, car port, trim, shutters, awnings, shed and front window. Adhesive Primer to be used. *** could start at end of August or brother could start on August 17. $3,500.00; 40 % dep ($1400.00) paid to his wife Waunda. I chose 17th but Wanda called apx 15th & had fired brother so *** to start end of Aug as no other jobs lined up. It would be done less then 5 days. I had eaves removed & had dug around skirting so they could paint to bottom. *** dropped off son & young step-son on Aug 29 to powerwash & by Sept 13 the following occurred: *** did not stay on job or supervise. It varried who was painting, son, sister-in-law, young step son. Days no show, said start at 8 but always came past 10 am or much later, long lunches, left early. Did not tape, cutting blue while white not done. Basically start painting different areas, no completion of 1 or 2 coats. Screws sprayed with an oxide red which bleeds thru. No adhesive primer used. Totally missing areas, painting the ripple up/down rather then sideways so spotty unpainted. *** repeatedly told me he was losing money on my job, had other jobs, quotes to do instead. Promising different dates to be done. Said he should have charged more, should have sprayed, would spray, then did not. *** became abusive yelling at me a # of times. No show Sept 10 to 12. I took pictures at that time. On Sept 13, the '16th' day boys were dropped off at 9:30, after their lunch at apx 1 *** came & told the boys to pack up, they took paint & abandoned job. *** yelled at me about some reference. I had to further postpone my new eaves. As they never painted to bottom either, dug out around skirting was open too long (issue of getting rodents, wildlife under home, water damage).
