I was granted a car insurance policy and I have been renewing it every year. I received a call to update some information on my policy and they said the make and model of my vehicle in their description of the policy. The model was incorrect. We checked the VIN and it was the same. Someone entered the model wrong and therefore I was told I would have to start paying more insurance every month even though my policy had been issued months ago.Business response

Good Day,
On March 27 at 2:57:58 PM *********** ****** called in to Northern Insurance Brokers to cancel his Tenant Insurance. He was advised during this call if he cancelled his tenant insurance that he would be losing his discount on the Auto Insurance Policy and his Insurance amount would be going up. *********** agreed to this and cancelled his Tenant Policy. This conversation was recorded.
The increase in premium was not due to a change in Make/Model as *********** has initially submitted in his claim to ***.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:This response has nothing to do with the issue I am talking about. They had the wrong model of vehicle filed with my insurance for at least 2 years and when they realized their mistake, I was told I would need to pay an increased rate. This has nothing to do with accidents or changes in coverage.
