Bought a floor from this manufacturer we just laid the product had issue with it separating and the surface splintering when we contacted the company they sent someone out and gave us the run around of every excuse possible. No where on there boxes does it have any info for installation or warranty issues. Once we received the companies insights back. We check online tonthere warranty program and **** **** ** ** over email saying we need to keep the floor at min 40/50 percent humidity when on the website it states 30/65 percent. Or house sits at 36 percent. The other item **** *** **** ***** was heated floor under van never go above 22 degrees which when looked at the online warranty it states 29 degrees. This company is trying to get away without having to deal with any of there problems, and yet still supply this product all over the place.

I purchased laminate flooring from an installer who purchases the floor from a local vender Canadian Standard which the product comes from ****** ******** the product is ******* and have been dealing with both ****** and Canadian Standard for an entire year and no satisfactory resolution. There product dents at the drop of a pen, I had dents the day after I installed the floor and reached out to them with my concern regarding the integrity of the product. I also had many concerns I could not get the floor free of water streaks and marks, it is glorified cardboard at its best. I also questioned the floor sample that I purchased the floor from and told them it did not look like the same floor and even brought a piece of leftover flooring to the store to compare it with the sample in the store and even sent ****** an email about that as well. All in all *************** I would like a full credit so that I can install a better quality flooring, need to add that my house is no shoe zone. Finally after a year and many phone calls and emails later Canadian Standard sends me a letter advising me that it is all do to user related...unacceptable these concerns were addressed 2 days after it was installed. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/04) */ Canadian Standard is a Flooring Distributor of the ****** ******** ******** flooring product. An official responds from ****** was conveyed to the consumer. Quote: In reference to the complaint of surface denting and watermarks and based on the documents and images provided, our technical department has denied this claim for warranty support based on the following information. The indentations observed show areas of the top surface wear layer and décor paper layer that have separated from the plank and exposed the core material. This type of separation indicates external mechanical force was applied to the material in order to sever the bonded layers and gouge out the core. The watermarks stated in the claim form were not detected in the images provided; therefore, we cannot review that issue. Our warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by scratches, marring, impact dents, freight, and handling damage. These types of damages are considered user related; therefore, we are unable to offer warranty support. If you would like to submit additional information, we will be happy to review the file again.
