  WE CONTRACTED WITH HAMILTON KITCHEN RENOVATION TO REDO OUR KITCHEN. THE PROJECT MANAGER ANTHONY CAME OUT FOR THE INITIAL VISIT. HE STATED THEY HAD A PLACE AROUND THE CORNER FROM US WHICH LED US TO BELIEVE THEY WERE LOCAL. AS YOU CAN SEE THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT LOCAL TO US. WE DIDN'T KNOW THEIR TRUE LOCATION ***** ** ******** *** ********** * ** *********. THEY DO HAVE A SMALL PART OF AN UNSIGNED WAREHOUSE WHICH IS NOTHING MORE THAN CABINET DISPYLAYS. ANTHONY TEXTED US OCTOBER 2 (WE STILL HAVE IT) TO SAY THEY WOULD BE STARTING THE WORK OCTOBER 24 AND OUR CABINETS WOULD BE READY 2 WEEKS AFTER THAT DATE. OUR KITCHEN WAS GUTTED AND THE FLOORS REDONE AND THEN NOTHING. WE FOUND ANOTHER PHONE NUMBER SO WE BOTH CALLED SEPARATELY. OUR CABINETS WOULDN'T BE READY FOR 5 MORE WEEKS AND THEY WOULDN'T LET US TALK TO A MANAGER OR ANYONE IN CHARGE. WE ARE BOTH LIVID. WE HAVE GIVEN THEM $40,000.00. AND ALL WE HAVE IS A FLOOR, EMPTY KITCHEN WALLS, AND UNTOLD GRIEF AND FRUSTRATION. WE WOULD PREFER THEY JUST FINISH THE CONSTRUCTION WE ASKED FOR AND TO PUT UP THE CABINETS. ALTHOUGH WE AGREED TO COUNTERS/BACKSPLASH WE DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM ANY FURTHER. ALL TRADES ARE OUT OF TORONTO AND WE CAN'T TRUST THEM TO COMPLETE THE JOB IN ANY KIND OF TIMELY MANNER. WE FEEL WE ARE NOTHING MORE THAN AN AFTERTHOUGHT TO THEM. WE ARE SPENDING FAR TOO MUCH BECAUSE THEY DON'T SEEM TO CARE THAT WE ARE EXTREMELY INCONVENIENCED THEY SHOULD BE PAYING US. YOUR HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

  We are sorry for the delayed response to your email. We value your efforts to contact us to hear our side of the story regarding the kitchen renovation project at ***** ******’s residence in Hamilton. 
  
  We are engaged by ***** ****** to renovate their kitchen at **** ***** **** Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario, L8W 1E7. There was a delay in completing the renovation due to supplier issues. Our cabinet supplier failed to arrange the cabinets within the prescribed timeline. We had informed ***** ****** that the cabinets are made by a third party and we only undertake their installation. We completed their kitchen renovation by 10 December 2022 as the Supplier has assured their delivery now. We have been in constant touch with *****. Upon further enquiry with our Supplier, we were informed that they had a COVID-19 outbreak in their facility and around 10-15 people were infected with COVID-19. Keeping in line with the government requirements, our Supplier refused to engage in any supply or installation to prevent further spread of the disease. ** **** ******** *********** ** *** **** **** *** ******** ** ***** ** ***** 
  
  Further, we never made a representation to ***** that we are a local Hamilton business. We have been operating out of Greater Toronto Area and cater to customers in Hamilton. We have been planning to set up our office in Hamilton once we have enough customers in Hamilton to support our costs associated with opening an office. 
  
  The delay in completing *****’s kitchen renovation is due to reasons outside of our control. We pride ourselves in top quality delivery of work.
