      I had purchased a brand new 2021 Kia K5 Gt. After running 77,000kms, the car transmission had an issue. I dropped my car at foster Kia on July 9th 2023. Initially they told me that the issue was with the transmission fluid and later on told me that the complete gearbox had to be replaced. The order for the part was placed and till today they have no ETA for the part. They are not giving me a time when they can fix the car. If the model was discontinued, I could understand the difficulty for finding parts. Here the car is still a production model and even after 7 weeks, they can't find the parts is frustrating. As a constumer, I am still paying EMI for the car which I'm not using. I would need BBB to help me get a resolution for this situation. 1.Either the company give me an ETA and fix my car as soon as possible. OR 2. Pay the EMI of the car for the period in the workshop.

      Hi, I went and spoke to ****** in person, his reply was that he was not upset or disappointed with Foster Kia. He was upset that it took as long as it did for Foster Kia to receive the part from Kia Canada. I did explain to the customer that there are still challenges, with the supply chain, the strike in Victoria also played a part in the delay. While the customer was without his car he was provided with a rental. The client is actually pleased with Foster Kia and inquired if we can contact him when a vehicle he is interested in comes into stock.
