  I hired this guy to do my hardwood flooring, stairs , kitchen cabinets and counter top, he agreed to do the job for $16500 on July 2020 he has not finished the work yet. Brian ( owner of the store ) and his wife initially acted like very nice people , I paid him $12000 as advance money he told me that I don't have to pay anything else until he finishes the job. He ripped of my flooring in November 2019 and sent some people to install my flooring then he told me that he won't install the floor if I don't pay another $2000. I didn't had any choice because I have small 5kids under 11 years old . Finally he said he could not finish the flooring because there was not enough wood , he left half of living room with nails when I asked him he said it was a small mistake in measurement that anyone can happen and he will get the wood and finish the flooring in a week. Today's date is 2021 December 30th, so far he didn't finish the job. I called him many times and went to his store every week and he gave many dates and so many promises but nothing happened, now he won't pick up my call when I go to his store he and his wife are **********************. Now he is telling me that he won't do job and asking me to go to the court. **************************************************************************************** it's very difficult for our kids they are keep on asking us when we are going to finish the flooring. Also kids fell couple of times . We are really insulted infront our kids, relatives and friends . We really looking forward to get some help. I wish nob ody should go through this kind of situation .   Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/14) */ As every one knows their is always 3 sides to every story, his story my story and the truth Number 1) ****** did enter into 2 contracts, 1) for hardwood flooring and 2) for kitchen cabinates he received all of his cabinates and contract 01 was completed! and he did not leave an initial deposit of $12000 ************** the initial contract was only $13000 2) he left $2000 deposit on flooring for us to order the flooring as per contract,all of our invoices CLEARLY state all orders leave a deposit and the remainder of the balance needs to be paid before pickup, he was also reminded verbally that the install has to be paid upon arrival and installation of flooring ,it also states on all of our contracts CLEARLY ignorance of a contract is not acceptible,As per shortage of the wood these measurements were given to us by Mr ******,he refuses to pay extra for his mistake!******************************************************* as well he thinks he can get whatever he wants without paying he still owes us a balance of the contract *************************************************************************************************** ****************************************************************************************************************************************** Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/01/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) 1. He told that I have entered in to two contract One is for kitchen cabinets and he finished it.************************ , the first contract was for kitchen cabinets and counter tops, he brought half cabinets only and still not done anything with counter top or handles . 2 . The second contracts was for entire flooring and stairs. He told that my measurements was wrong but I didn't do any measurements,Brain (owner of store) himself did the measurements and he gave the pricing for the work but now he is saying that it's my measurements and I have to pay him more for the wood. **************************************************************** He never keep his words. ************* the invoices that I have for $12690 but I paid $13690 in which he didn't given bills for $1000.This money paid towards stairs and flooring I have paid him $2000 towards kitchen cabinets and counter top. He brought only cabinets and saying work is finished. He is left my ripped flooring and stairs and counter top for almost 2 years now and he is saying that I owe him money that's why he is not finishing the job . *********************************************************************************************.l am leaving this matter with proof to you guys for judgement. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

  Brain in Nu Era Kitchen and Bath agree to supply and install hardwood flooring at my house for 13000 + hst. I paid advance 2000 dollar on August 25th 2020. On October 6th Payed another 7500, because Brain told I have to pay for the hardwood which is already shipped from Quebec. Since then ****************** he change date several time. Hardwood which he told shipped in September never reached till now. ****************** he is saying that I am not doing it and not refunding the money. He is asking me to go to court.
