On November 1, 2021, I pre-ordered a meal online through Swiss Chalet to be picked up at 7:10pm. However, when I got to the store (at 6:55pm) my food was already ready and waiting at the counter in a Thermos bag. I have contacted Swiss Chalet in regards to the displeasure of the food (cold and soggy), and even though my receipt states the food was ready at 5:34pm (receipt attached), they claim that pre-ordered food is not made 5-10 minutes before pickup time (their email is attached). I have also attached my online order confirmation email that clearly states 7:10pm pickup time. I am requesting a full meal replacement at their expense. I ordered the festive family meal for four people and a order of chicken spring rolls. Total was $61.00Business response

But that being said we are sorry your experience wasn't up to standers. We would like to invite you back to get a replacement for your order. Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2021/11/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I accept their response and I took them up on it tonight, November 11, 2021. I ordered the exact same meal as before and it was cooked to my pickup time. Although The meal was hot and satisfactory, it was missing the house salad, Italian dressing and dipping sauce for the spring rolls. With that said, I feel I had to go to great lengths to be heard by the restaurant, after what I feel was a disappointment on their part to resolve my concerns for us to reach this point for a resolution. Furthermore, I just hope Swiss Chalet learns from this and takes customer complaints more seriously.
