BENCHMARK has refinished (sanded and stained) my 35 year old white oak flooring with the upmost satisfaction. The high quality DUST FREE sanding equipment has entirely removed all the deep grooves, marks, blemishes and old finish and took my floors to a smooth bare wood. ******* worked hard and long at making color samples that would provide the color scheme I sought. I am a detailed "perfectionist" person and ******* could sense my eagerness at aiming for the right color, but this did not deter him from trying. Together, the sanding and the staining have been done in 3 days and my floors are spectacular. My floors are outstandingly uniform and smooth in texture. There are no tool or equipment marks at all. The edges and corners are flawless (even in the linen closet). The AWESOME BONUS was that their high quality equipment TRULY did produce a DUST FREE environment. Their sanding machine was hooked to a multi-stage HEPA filter machine which vacuumed into a large contractor's bag all the dust that would otherwise have gone into the air and throughout the house. At the end of the sanding work, this LARGE BAG was 2/3 FULL of dust. TOTALLY AMAZING. The only dust (hardly worth mentioning) was the bit of hand-sanding around the banister posts and closest to the walls and corners which **** meticulously cleaned every bit of it as they worked with their smaller sanding tools. When they left, there was no dust to clean but a few scuff marks to touch up. Both ******* and **** (two lovely brothers) are highly dedicated professional and experienced men. They are meticulous, methodical and detail oriented totally dedicated to nothing less than top quality. I don't think they would have done better if the work had been for themselves. I am very impressed with the work done on my floors, but even more so with ******* and **** who are outstanding quality people. It was pleasant to have them both in my home for 3 short days. To highly recommend them and their work would be an understatement.
