    I hired the company to replace the siding on my place of business/shop. I paid a $10,000 deposit in March and multiple payments following. Work began this summer, with many gaps in between working. While he was working I would request information about scheduling, working, and communicate needs. Lights put back up, fencing, double check for nails, etc. When **** installed a door he did not put a handle or lock on my place of business for 5 days. When I asked about when he was coming to do this, he expressed that the door did not come with a handle or lock. I told him that I was disappointed that he planned to leave my place of business this way and leave me scrambling to find someone to install a lock. **** became very defensive, told me that I was difficult to work with, etc. I noticed he was defensive any time that I requested information or things done. After being told that he didn't like me, and didn't like working for me, which to me is bizarre, as I had not said anything out of the ordinary at all, I just ignored him on his final day working. He anticipated that the work would be completed that day, but there ended up needing another day of work. With 5 hours left of work he told me that, because of the issues between us, he needed full payment before coming back. I informed him that his contract states that he receives final payment once the work was finished, per our agreement. He became extremely upset and began hurling insults to me while on speaker phone next to my teenage daughter. it was bizarre, it made me uncomfortable and my daughter was shocked that he would speak to me like that. He threatened to take me to small claims court and packed up and left the work unfinished and my place of business with no lock or handle on the door once again. His behaviour is bizarre, he is unreasonable, he makes me uncomfortable, I don't want him on my property again. I would like to hire another contractor to finish it.
