1 starI have been a CAA membership for over 20 years and in the past four years I have either had to wait 3 to 4 hours to be told that they either forgot to put the call in and When a truck finally showed up they could only move a few feet and then had to call another truck so that was three times I had to call for CAA and one night. Since this past year, I have been refused calls for various and ridiculous reasons, and those calls counted as services rendered. When in fact, I never got any services nor did I get any help for the emergencies that I was in with my vehicle. Since speaking with customer service, they have given me excuses and not at all, answered my questions as to why they’re being so difficult about giving me the services that I pay for. *** ****** **** * *** ***** *** *** ************ **** * **** **** ************ ** **** *** ****** **** **** ******* *** ****** ********* ** *** ******* *******, *** **** *** ******** **** ** **. ** ***** ** ** **** ************ ** ****** ****** **** ***** ****** *** ** *** ******* ** ******* ****** ********* ** **** *** **** ******** ******** I have never taken advantage of CAA and I have barely used any calls in the 20 years that I have been paying for CAA. 1 star***** ***** * **** **** ** ** ****** $18k 12 day dream trip to Scotlabd was trip from hell. CAA agent advised us we needed different luggage to be able to use on bus. $450 , and when we get there discover it was not needed. Told that on arrival on 8 hour flight would be taken to hotel to check in and get ready for the day. Arrived, bus is 1 hr late and we had to stand aound. Then not to hotel but straight to driving around sightseeing. No breakfast, and no chance to change to apprpriate clothes/footwear. No scheduled lunch stops. This mismanagement is norm for the day. Bus has no washrooms and guide will not accomodate anyone needing to make an extra stop.Agent said tyey would as both of us may require due to nedical issues. Therefore every destination or stop involves everyone cutting into touring time to line up for washrooms there. Some times include 4 hrs + on bus with no stops. Worst of all, when wife experiences a combo of severe migrainr and sciatica flair up, he refuses to allow her to stay on bus during the tour stop and kicks her off the bus. Had to walk several hundred meters down a severely sloping hill to a LOUD visitor center (her ******* sound alarms kept getting triggered). CAA states no responsibility, although saying kicking injured people of bus was against their policy. Guide refused to talk to us after this incident for the remaining 10 days. Hotels that were supposed to be 4 stars werent clean when we got there, and setvice was terrible. Included meals were substandard. Buses werent always cleaned. Overflowing with empty beer cans after a soccer club hsd before us. ...********** ****** ** ******Review fromDiana T

5 starsMarch 15, I drove from Sarnia to London. When nearing my destination a strange noise came from the front passenger side, flat tire. I called CAA, requested my vehicle be towed from London to the ****** dealership in Sarnia. I was told that the cost would be, I think, $400.00 but if I upgraded my membership there would be no charge other than the upgrade fee as it covers towing up to 200 km, I upgraded. The CAA truck arrived (****** * *** ******) and *** took the tire off the car and checked for punctures, there were none, it was a leaky valve stem. *** said after the spare tire had been installed I would be able to drive the car to Sarnia. I told *** that I was not comfortable driving the car that far because on February 25 the two rear tires had been flat because of leaky valve stems, both were replaced and I was told that the valve stems on the front tires were OK. My concern was that within a three-week period three valve stems leaked. Would the fourth valve stem fail while driving back to Sarnia? I did not feel confident that the driver side front tire would hold up while driving my car back to Sarnia and said I would really like to be towed to Sarnia as that is what I asked for when I called CAA for roadside assistance. *** understood my concern and said that I should drive the car and he would follow me back to Sarnia just in case there was a problem and not to drive the car over 100 km per hr. Although **** did not physically tow my car, as I requested, he indirectly towed me to Sarnia to make sure I was safe. *** did the right thing by following me to Sarnia, I can’t thank *** enough for giving me peace of mind driving to Sarnia. ***** * ******* **Review fromRamandeep B

1 star1st service - feb 3rd,2025- my commercial van broke down suddenly at work and i towed it to my another address (not a home address) as i could not park their. later i called a mechanic at my that address, he mentioned it can not fixed. it will take a lot expenditure to fix it and suggest better to sell as is. 2nd service - feb 3rd 2025 - i get towed my commercial van to my home address end of the day as i did not have time to sell it on the spot because of work and need time to empty it. 3rd service request - feb 4th 2025 - i have another personal car, but i did not use it for 2 months approx because of busy schedule. as temporarily i asked my friend to get it fixed when he get chance during weekend so that i can use it from next week. i request a tow service. but guess what, they denied to provide it saying it is not your home address or mechanic address. They provided the same tow service at the first time. and then on 3rd tow request they denied to drop off at non mechanic or non home address location. i questioned the executive why did they drop off the vehicle to non mechanic or non home address location at the first time? at that time they had no answer, as we were paying extra $100 because of emergency membership and service they did not say anything at that time. they said they do drop off to any address. ********. and they said it is customer duty to ask the terms and conditions before signing. lols! first of all you did not inform these terms and conditions at the first place or no paper form or e form of these were provided. and the most interestingly the terms you are claiming during third need, why did you provided the same on the first time need during membership? customer agent had no answer to these questions. *** **** *** ** ** **** ***** * ** ********, i told her i am not done yet. she said bye. * **** * ***** **** * ** ******** ***** horrible experience and gonna cancel the membership *** **** *********Review fromAnthony M

1 starI had premium roadside assistance from CAA from 1999 until 2021. In 2021 I had a collision with a stack of roadwork cones dropped on a road by some workers. Since the collision didn't involve another vehicle or person, I didn't file a police report (I didn't want my insurance premiums to increase). The car was damaged but driveable, so I drove it to a collision centre, where they removed the front bumper to do a comprehensive estimate. Their estimate was too high and I was getting gaslit by the roadwork company so I wanted the car towed to another place for the repair. At this point the car was no longer driveable, and the new location was about a 10 km trip. The CAA driver refused to tow the car without a police report, since there was more than $2500 damage (I got it fixed for less than that, which was why I was leaving the collision centre). The tow truck driver called one of his buddies, who I paid $350 cash to tow my car 10 km. Then when I got home, I called CAA and canceled my membership, which I'd had for more than 20 years. **** ****** *** ****** **** ** *** ** **** CAA left me high and dry when I needed them.Review fromDavid M

1 starI’ve been with CAA off and on for almost 40 years. They use AI for intake and because of AI’s failure to identify the location to bring the vehicle, I wasted an entire day waiting. The first driver *** ******* ****** * *** *** *** left because the insurance slip was outdated and even though the updated one was only ten minutes away..he was gone! Never … ever was asked for proof of insurance in 40 years and it was fully insured with just outdated slip. Had to wait another 1.5hrs for another tow truck. Anyways I cancelled. ****** ******** ****** ******** ********** Basically an apology… no credits…nothing to compensate me for an entire day wasted.Review fromJillian L

1 starAbsolutly horrible service. A tow person came, realized we would need a flat bed. He said he would out the call in. Didn't. I finally figured that out and called again to order a flat bed. Said it was in its way and then never showed up. When I called them they said they were waiting for my call to upgrade my membership which was never even mentioned in a single conversation. It's now been 7 hours since the first call and it says I need to wait another 3 hours for the tow truck. **** ** **********
