      While travelling on a Flight from Abu Dhabi to Toronto on Ethiad Airways in July 2023, two of my bags were damaged by the airline. I filed a damaged baggage complaint and a report was made by the contractor that the airline uses for baggage handling. I was asked to take the two damaged bags to a vendor to assess the damage and potential repair costs and since the bags were beyond repair, I was told to revert back to the airline. I did and filled out the necessary documentation for compensation of my damaged baggage. The airline indicated that although I had paid $ 600 for my bags, I would have to provide a copy of my receipt. Since i was unable to provide a copy of my receipt, I was informed that the airline would only provide me $ 100 US as compensation for the two damaged bags. I was asked to fill out a Release and Indemnity Form which I did and was then informed that the amount would be transferred to my bank account. To this day I have not received the compensation and have followed up with the airline with several emails and calls to their call center and no one responds to my emails.

      I want to highlight an issue about Etihad airways. Their website is vulnerable in terms of data privacy. Scamers got access to a reference number of people. Anyone with reference numbers can able to find your passport number and how many people are traveling . Even they can cancel the tickets  My name is ****** ****l. An incident happened with me on 4 April. Someone called me and told that they are calling for Etihad Airways.  Already got my information. Maybe they got my reference numbers from somewhere which is questionable. They demanded $900 for confirming the ticket. I understand that it's a scam and I refuse to pay and immediately cancel my tickets and took the refund into their loyalty points or gift cards. No, my question is to the Airline Etihad airline , their system is so weak that just with the booking reference number, anyone can cancel your ticket find out whom you're travelling with they can find out your passport numbers, source and destination of travel email address. They can do everything with this information and also top of that they can able to refund the amount into any gift cards or loyalty points and also they can do Ransom calls. The scammers cancelled my tickets and took the refunds. I connected airline they are not replying , They are saying only one thing that its done online they cant do anything.

      This is about a Voucher that Etihad Airways gave me 6 months ago because they changed my flight from their end and they told me that I can change the voucher to my bank account when I am back in Canada. But since when I am back(6 months ago) I have been contacted them multiple times like more than 20 times but I haven’t got my refund yet and every time they say we are gonna escalate it to do it faster but I get nothing and then again just say sorry and nothing happen and I have been talking to them for 6 months but nothing happened.

      My reservation is ****** with original fare Economy Choice Plus. I already used a single leg and for the return flight, I require a refund. Please look at the flight cancellations I faced for this reservation; 1. Flight *** ** *** - 15th August 2021 (Economy choice Plus) 2. I changed my flight to 31 Dec 2020 (for some reason - my economy choice plus was removed) 3. Etihad Cancelled the flight of 31st Dec 2020 4. Etihad Automatically booked me on another flight with a two days layover in Abu Dhabi. Who gave you authority for auto booking? 5. Flight rebooked on 9th January 2021 (layover still increased and there was no hotel availability and I was traveling with my two kids) 6. I called the Etihad helpline - confirmed that I would be eligible for a refund with or without Etihad travel bank credit - I was offered a bonus on travel bank credits also. 7. I booked my flight with another airline. I can provide proof of the tickets purchased. 8. Etihad agent, Kim, confirmed my eligibility for a refund and said that the refund request is in process. (call made on 9th October 2021 - check recording to confirm - call made from () 9. After all this hassle, I have called Etihad many times and now came across that I am not eligible for an Etihad refund. On what grounds? Firstly, on my first ticket, the original fare was choice plus and then I have to deal with cancellations and was rebooked with prolonged layovers with no hotel available/provided. 10. I require my refund ASAP plus the extra cost I paid to the other airline. ****** **** ******** ************* **** **** I have waited enough. Two of your agents, Kim and Joy, told me that refund is in the process but nothing happened. In the end, Etihad breaks the news that I am not eligible for my money.       I brought a ticket, about four months back. The fare that was offered was there on another airline. Now less than a month to go, they have canceled the flight which I had booked. My ticket was for a departure of November 11th, return on November 25th. Now I get an email the last leg of my flight has been cancelled and no solution. I spent 9.5 hours on the phone and no one answer. I sent a few emails to the head office and no response. The process of making a booking and then leaving the people with no solution when they can't fulfill their OWN schedule and then not offer an alternate is wrong.
