      In January of 2021, I purchased a vehicle that was financed through Tricor Lease and Finance. At the time I was told that I would have the option to have 1 deferral payment per year which aligns with other financial lenders. I used a deferral and then I used a 2nd one. Both times, I verified with the representative that I still had more for the following years. This has been agreed upon by the representative. I have recently requested another deferral. I have not used one in this calendar year. I have been denied and told that they only allow 1 per year. I have submitted complaints to Tricor and to the company that sold me the vehicle. I have asked for explanations as to why I was told I would get 1 per year and now they are retracting that. I also have asked why they gave me 2 if they only allow one. I have not received satisfactory responses and nobody has ever tried to work with my by listening to the recorded calls to verify the agreement I had. They have also discontinued another perk where they would not take out my payment if I was going to be late, thus avoiding me NSF fees. They do not do that anymore and have told me they never have which is not true. **** **** ***** ***** **** ** ************

      Mr. ********, it appears your originating Dealer may have provided you with inaccurate information regarding TLFC’s extension policy.   The terms and conditions of your loan are governed by your Conditional Sales Contract (CSC).   Upon review, you will see the CSC does not contain language with respect to payment deferral entitlements.  The expectation is that payments will be made as per the agreed-upon terms.   We understand from time to time that customers experience financial difficulties and payment extensions are reviewed and granted on a case by case basis. 

      Upon review of the notes on the 4 payment extensions granted on this loan, the Customer Service Representative was very clear, that no such entitlement exists.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I was not aware of the deferral option until one day I called and inquired because every other loan provider has this option. I was told by a Tricor employee that I had 1 deferral per year. It was not the person who sold me the vehicle. You must have all of your phone calls recorded so go back and find this.       I have lease contract with this company signed on November 8, 2017 and 60 terms. I completed the terms on October 8, 2022 was the last payment and done. I tried to reach to this company in last 40 days via email, phone and no body giving me appropriate response, just ignoring me. I am basically asking them to provide me written format confirmation letter or email to validate that my payments in the 60 months term is completed. That is all I want, but they are refusing it.

      Sorry for the confusion on your account.   We have checked the notes on your file and it appears we have shared the following information with you:

      Your leaser term has expired with all payments having been made as per the Agreement.
      As per the Agreement you are required to return the vehicle to the Originating Dealer; who we understand has been in contact with you and advised you of your lease end options.
      As a point of clarity, as per the Agreement, the lease is between you and the Originating Dealer; the lease as been ‘assigned’ to TLFC to administer on the Dealer’s behalf.
