***** ***** ********* ***** They take hours to talk to an agent over phone, you navigate and listen to extremely long recorded messages, select choices. *** ** ************ I paid $2,000 on my prepaid credit card and they lost it! I made the payment June 20 2024 and it still hadn't appeared on my credit card by June 26 2024. When I called BMO to check they said a payment of $2,000 was too high and it should have been refunded to the bank from which I paid the money, ******* Financial. They said they had no other information. I called ******* and they told me the same thing. The money went out of my account and to my account at BMO. There were no numeral errors or typos in any of these transactions. ******* had already started an investigation into this but I wasn't hopeful as BMO had done this a few months earlier with a smaller amount. At that time BMO simply did not reply to *******'s investigation. This time ******* said they could expidite further but only if I could get BMO to give me a fax number and name of a person in the BMO billing department. BMO refused to do this but transferred me to another agent where call dropped. ** *** **** * ******* ** *** ***** * ****** *** ******** I don't think it gets any worse than dealing with Customer Service at BMO, especially when you need access to your own money. Today, the representative pronounced his name "Ahman" with his accent, and I misunderstood, thinking it was "Ahmed." He became very upset, accusing me of discrimination - wait - for mispronuncing his name! This location is **** bad Customer service agents *** ******** ** ******* I went just to change my PIN number they ask for ID I give them my driver license and my password but they ask for transactions I told them them they took an hours , she called other agents and talk Chinese with them regarding my account and ******* then she said system doesn’t work I have to wait. She ask other agent to assist me so she went to her office which she can see . Then she pull my account from there and watch all my transactions and then remove my automatic payment for my car loan so my transaction go UNSF This is 3th time they doing this and I have to go in person end do the payment then after awhile the payment disappears **** ***** **** ********* *** ****** *** ************ **** *** ****** ***** *** ******* ********* *** ***** *** ********* ******* **** *** **** *** *** *** **** ** * **** **** ** **** **** * * ** ** ***** ******** **** ****** ** **** **** **** ******* * ** **** ** * ** **** *** They has open more then 5 different accounts in my name it’s been years , I keep going and asking to close it down they make me to sign things and say it is done . But year after when I go to ask for the information how many accounts are open they give me the receipt that all are open . I have been with this bank for decades but I'm seriously disappointed. I am very disabled and unable to leave my building. If for whatever reason a pin stops working I have to go in, if I want to invest, I have to go in, anything I've asked for, I need to go in. I have money and money to invest but I won't give them my money. When I find a bank that can serve all their customers not just the ones that can walk, I'm taking my money elsewhere. Right now I have to go reset the pin on my cc but I can't do it. They refuse to accommodate me. I've tried many times to appeal to them but a call center. I get there are policies but they are leaving me out. That's not ok. In my experience they only want abled customers.Review from David B

I just finished the process of opening a business account and credit card. People are helpful however, the process is ludicrously inefficient and cumbersome. I've been to the branch 5 times to finally get everything working. No fee banking is a fine product but the time cost to me is frustrating. I would switch banks to a paid account simply for a better process.Review from Daniel J

I am a client of Westbrook BMO, I opened a cheques account and a savings account, I thought maybe I should try BMO, but after today I am thinking of finding another bank, I did do a balance transfer from my ******** **** ********** and deposited it last Tuesday and then they told me there would a five working day hold on the cheques, so that was fine, till I got home and found it was twice of the hold time, so I went back to the bank explained to the manager what had happened, he had a terrible attitude and said he would guarantee the hold would be off by the 24 day of April, well that morning of the 24, I tried to pay off my high interest line of credit. The money is still on hold and if it is not released right away BMO will be responsible for any occurred interest will be paid by BMO, and I don’t like getting **** to by a bank manager **** ***** ** ******* **** *** ***** * ***** ********** **** *** **** ******* ***** ** **** **** *** ******** *** ******** ******** ** ****** ***** ***** ********* ****** *****
